Seeing people watch Home Free for the first time is such fun - especially when it's one of their videos where they show their senses of humor.. They are all experienced, long-haul singers and, as the bass said in an interview, everyone needs to laugh more and not take everything so seriously.
This is another amazing acapella group. They won on the Sing Off. Pentatonix won the season before. Home Free's beat boxer & bass are extremely talented. They are also friends with Pentatonix. Hope the info helps.check out more from them.
The more you watch them, the more amazed you'll be. Every cover song they do is just as good, if not better, than the original artist. Can't Stop the Feeling is fun and How Great Thou Art is an amazing video - filmed in the alps of Austria.
Holy Cow...where to start with the suggestions? "Butts Remix", "Castle On The Hill" (Ed Sheeren cover), "In The Blood" (their new John Meyer cover), "Thinking Out Loud/Lets Get It On" (Ed Sheeren/Marvin Gay cover)....everyone is amazing. So glad you liked them! Thanks
Yes! "Thinkin' out loud/Let's get it on" must you react to. From the weary first start, it's is amazing what the bassinger can do and lissening the whole song. You will be blown away. I'm not gonna tell you what is it but be prepared with you earphones. 😉
Glad you found Home Free. They always have such a fun time together, but their vocals and beatbox are always right on the spot.. They have many videos. Just keep on going with them.. They have so many different sounds.
Thank you for you reacting to Home Free, I really loved it! Definitely do more reactions to them. They are starting to get quite a following here in Germany.
They are unique, and funny too, An acapella group, they take pop songs and put their twist of country on it, and they take country songs and add a little more beat to it. They have great harmonies and their beatboxer is amazing. They all have great voices, and even the beatboxer can sing too.
If you guys like the bass. check out Ring of Fire (Avi Kaplan is in it, well he is in 2 of Home Free videos actually) or if you liked the Hobbit movie, look at Peter Hollens Misty Mountains featuring Tim Foust (the bass guy from Home Free seen here) Tim can really sing some low notes and hold the growls very amazing to me.
lots of home free fans here. this is one of their fun videos. they are really good and I always look for more people to react to them. smiles and lots of love more home free please see the suggestions in comments below
LOL -- You're reactions -- a blast. You guys are just seeing, hearing, recognizing what we already know.... We watch to experience it again ---- sayin' .... OH , Yeah -- I done the same thing!!! , It's not just me!.... HF is phenomenal! Each can stand alone and deliver, yet come together tight and with such harmony --- exceptionally well. If ya get a chance --- go see them LIVE! No other Acappella group even comes close to these guys --- and that IS NOT a negative toward any other groups!!! Thanks, Enjoy IT
Oh wow!! I LOVED your reaction!!! Oh yes, more Home Free cuz every song they do is outstanding & their arrangements are out of this world!!! Uber talented guys! Thx for reacting to them. Y'all were great!! Loved watching you!! -- BTW: I love their mashup of "Fishin In The Dark / Boondocks". They open their concerts with that one & it really puts you in a party mood, plus the video is unique as well.
They are the world's only western a cappella group, but they're also comfortable performing any genre. The preview at the end of this video is called "Butts Remix". I can't wait for your next Home Free reaction. Thanks for this one. Just subbed.
SO g;ad you guys reacted to HOME FREE!! They are my 2nd favorite after Pentatonix for a Capella music! So unique in their approach to songs! Your reaction was great! Love seeing 1st time reactors to them! lol Their 2 newest songs are incredible, but they have some truly amazing videos to check out!! PLEASE go down that rabbit hole!!
I am sooo glad you reacted to HOME FREE !!! Please react to more of their wonderful songs. If you want a good laugh, and upbeat mood and to hear an amazing "remix" then "The Butts Remix " should be next. It shows the guys naturally funny sides while masterfully taking many songs from everything from hip hop, rap to country and combining them all into a great video about butts. If you continue to listen to their music, (which I hope you do) you will find an awesome group that is not held to one specific genre of music to to cover although most of their originals are country based. No matter what, you will continually be impressed every time you listen to them.
I have subscribed for more Home Free reactions. This is one of their fun lol videos and so is Butts Remix. Their emotional range is as wide as their vocal range and just as inspiring! Have fun exploring and we will have fun watching you because the next best thing to discovering how amazing these guys are is watching someone else do the same.
Home Free is an acapella country group. Look at their other videos. The guy in the hat left recently, and was replaced. The bass is Tim Foust. He's a basso profundo. Five octaves!
Thanks for getting to Home Free... they will constantly amaze you if you continue on with them! I agree with all the suggestions below and a few more are... Summer in the Country, California Country, I've Seen, Good Ol' Country Harmony... these are all originals... LOTS more for you to do LOL. We Home Fries can keep you very busy! ;-)
Great reaction guys! PLEASE do more Home Free reactions! If you love bass, you're gonna freak out over Tim Foust! (Their bass) Can't wait to see what you pick next!!!
Thank you for reacting to Home Free. They won the 4th season of the Sing-Off in 2013 - the same competition that PTX had won in 2011. That's why I thought you might like them. Yes, their music is completely unique. Very difficult to categorise but they call themselves a country a cappella group and usually add a little bit of a country twist to most of their songs. However, they combine a lot of different genres. Tim Foust, the bass, can sing both lower and higher than Avi. (Avi has a 4-octave vocal range, Tim's range spans 5 octaves.) He even taught Avi a few tricks how to sing lower. They're good friends. Other members are: Adam Rupp (beatboxer/tenor), Austin Brown (high tenor), Rob Lundquist (tenor) and in this video, Chris Rupp (baritone) was still with them, but he left in May 2016, so in newer videos, you'll see Adam Chance as their new baritone. The preview at the end was The Butts Medley/Remix. :D In case you wanted to check that. ;) Thank you again for reacting to them.
@Anthony Tran: Yes, he's a tenor, but he doesn't sing very often. As far as I know, he doesn't sing lead anywhere - except for the Guilty Pleasures bit, and that doesn't showcase his real voice very much because he's kind of changing it to make himself sound closer to the original. When he sings, which happens very rarely because he's allegedly not comfortable singing since he hasn't had as much training as the other guys, he usually sings background harmonies. You can hear his real singing voice in How Great Thou Art for a bit, and in some Christmas songs HF did. He also sings harmonies in In The Blood (their newest video).
'This Is How We Roll' does not get enough love from reactors, honestly. It's a great video if you're a fan of the movie 'The Big Lebowski'. All Home Free's songs are great, though. My favorite video is probably The Butts Remix.
Thanks for reacting, I love to watch the expressions of first time reactions...they are amazing! You keep reacting to Home Free and I will keep watching! They have so many amazing videos and I thank their covers are all better then the originals! I would like to see you react to the video My Church. It is a Marin Moris cover and it's the one that got me hooked on Home Free! I sure hope you keep reacting to them!
Look at Children Go Where I Send Thee - the first Home Free video I ever saw - and the truly amazing arrangements of other Christmas songs - Do You Hear What I Hear, Angels We Have Heard on High, and the so-fun Full of Cheer!!
Thanks to you guys I discovered Home Free tonight. THEY. ARE. GLORIOUS. As a reaction or just for yourselves, you guys absolutely have to listen to "In the Blood" by them. It is my favourite so far. I also wanted to say, I'm loving your busy month guys. I have a hellish time right now, lots and lots to do for university, so this really gives me something to look forward to when I come home at night. Also this week is my birthday, so it kinda feels like a present :D. Have fun blasting out tons of videos, but don't stress yourselves out too much! You two rock and so does Home Free!
Drakendottir Happy Late Birthday! Welcome to the Home Free family! You'll soon become a Home Fry and maybe you can even catch Home Free in concert soon!
Hi guys :). It was so much fun to watch you watching this medley, cause I know how great it is. I can't say I'm a country fun but this group is gorgeous. They sound amazing together and I hope you'll do more reactions to them. I see "Ring of fire" in the comments, so maybe I'll say something different - "My church".
I started watching your newer reactions, and have gotten back to this one. It's been fun, now, finding out how you started reacting to Home Free. Good stuff. Thank you!
Home Free is a Country A Capella group. Adam ( The beatboxer) is amazing. Tim Foust (The Bass) who started out this video has a 5 octave vacal range. He can go to the depths of hell one minute, and then soar into a high tenor range without skipping a beat. These guys love to have fun, while doing these videos, as well as when the perform live on stage. They travel all over, including most the U.S, Europe, Spain, Austria, Netherlands, and next year they are even going to Austrailia. They have many, many video's out right now, some are covers, and some are originals. Hope you do more of their videos in the future. Thank you for that great reaction. BTW- I just subscribed.
Hi, guys! I am a new subscriber. ☺ Thank you for reacting to Home Free! I am enthusiastically looking forward to many more Home Free reactions, as they are my favorite group. I hope to see you soon!
You need to check out their new video of Home Free's cover of "Mayday" just out today (Fri Nov 17th). Tim is unbelievable and also shows off Chance on bass.
Tim the bass has a five octave range its fun to watch he has some great songs Butts, All about the Bass, How Great thou Art. Tim Foust the base sings with Peter Mullens the Lord of the Rings songs. the high singer does a les messerable thats fantastic
Hey, I'm new here and I love your reactions! If you liked to hear them sing different songs in a way that sounded as if they were singing just one, I'd suggest reacting to the butts remix by home free. They are awesome and that video is also a lot of fun!
Okay Fellas. I looked through your videos, and I didn't see a reaction to Home Free's medley of "Fishin' in the dark/Down in the Boondocks". This one is very interesting. New sounds. Yeah. You are gonna drop your lower jaw to this one. Thanx, Mindy
Hi guys. Please react to some or their Christmas stuff. 'Angels we have heard on high', 'O, Holy night', 'Do you hear what I hear?'. Maybe a binge day for you!
I'm sorry but my OCD is kicking in... Your first comment wasn't correct. You said: "PTX won in 2013 and HF in 2014". Now you corrected it to: "PTX was 9/2011 and HF in 12/2013". There's a big difference between years 2011 and 2013, and 2013 and 2014. They're not the same years.
Tim Foust is the Bass for this group Here is a video Where he actually blew out a sound system Adam Rupp is the beatboxer I suggest you listen to his beat box solo ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-55SgfvoPoxc.html

May I suggest these 2 videos ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IA0WCc3vTls.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yXiqN1EyJ6Y.html
I prefer the individual performances with both the intro and the judges' notes. I know it'd mean more videos and more time but I feel it would give them a lot of useful information and background knowledge.
I totally agree.. it gives a better insight into how the guys got started and the judges are great... I wish more new comers would start with these but very few do. Well worth the time though!
Getting a bit fed up with all these A Cappella groups personally heh. I have this weird feeling some of the reactions are a bit forced on them too - are they semi paid/patreon wishes ? I still love you both and the channel - this just annoys me a little hehe
No it was a suggestion and since people seem to love it (some got more views than Game of Thrones), we enjoy it a lot and its pretty easy to make we will continue to do them!
@Michal Nielsen: This was my suggestion. I asked them to do it because they enjoy PTX and I thought they might enjoy Home Free as well. Judging by their reaction, I'd say I was right. Btw, as far as I know, there was only 1 a cappella group they had been reacting to (before this Home Free reaction), and that was PTX. So that would make Home Free only the 2nd a cappella group they reacted to.
