I could go to a concert without understanding a word spoken rather than to go for a music which I can understand but makes me sleep cuz there’s no emotion in it! Yes it is the Breakout Challenge Episode. The 3 singers Jessie J, Wang Feng, and Angela are safe this episode they didn't have to sing since they made it this far in the competition since episode 1. The 3 other singers who made it the last episode had the honor to sing for the last 3 spots, #8 #9 and #10 that night. So all the eliminated singers and those 3 are competing for the Finals and only 4 spots are available with Jessie, Wang Fang, and Angela. KZ was sick that week but she made it through her performance. Unfortunately, she didn't make it in the Top 4. Support the Singers' Channel. There are so many copies of her video going around.

It is significant, for example, that the Philippine ambassador to China was in the audience, and that he was at the center of the TV screen at one point. (Wearing the suit.) There have previously been strained diplomatic relations between China and the Philippines, over territory, as with other countries. There are efforts to re-calibrate that relationship, but very carefully. At any rate, none of this detracts from KZ's amazing performances, and the sincere appreciation of her audiences in China and elsewhere. I love her rendition of this classic folk song. She made changes to it that made it current and fresh, that she made me like the song now. I was indifferent to it when if first came out. Now, I truly loved it. For your benefit, the song is about a prodigal child, who realised later her or his mistake. My favourite part of the song was when KZ kept repeating the word “Mali” which means wrong. It sounded like it was running in a loop on this prodigal child’s brain. It was brilliant!

Song's title "Anak" means "Child". The song as narrated by the singer is about what a child is going through as they grow older through the eyes of the parent. It starts of when the child was born, and how they are their parents center of the universe. As years progressed, the child becomes distant, rebellious and got involved in various vices. The parents have no idea where they went wrong on raising them. By the end, the child realizes the mistake made as they looked at their weeping mother while holding back their tears. Kind of like Cat Steven's "Cats In The Cradle" but it was the child who made the mistake, not the father.

The audience votes...they select 3. Tengger, Hua Chenyu, Henry Huo (all replacement singers of those voted off-even their darling Hua Hua wasn't put straight through) were still performing on the show as of 11 episode 11) went on to the finals and the surprise act that knocked KZ out was a guy who has been voted off named James Li. I too hear she'll be a guest singer in the finale. Dimash didn't win 2017 for the same reason. Unfortunately no one is recommending the other singers to you on Twitter. I was totally unfamiliar with the singers (including Jessie J and KZ) when the show began and to me all of my favorites are in the finale. Also, I watched the entire "SINGER" episodes each week. If there was a non-Chinese bias, Jessie J wouldn't be leading even over Hua Hua.
