This is AMAZING! I have very severe tinnitus. Oddly it goes away when I take the "W" pose. Of course it comes back when I relax but this is giving me hope that my tinnitus can be cured.
@@Steven-ot2iy my tinnitus also stops when I correct my forward head posture. Only can do it momentarily like you at present, so I guess I (we) have to keep working on posture. Good luck with it.
I'm 36 male. Very introverted and I never realized how much I actually fight against my height. It's quite entertaining to see myself getting taller this far into life
Just found this video yesterday, it's already got me feeling better, combined with the Dowager's Hump video, about to start day two. I must add, what simple, charismatic and fun guys too. I absolutely will be watching and adding more of your stretches/exercises to my daily routine. Thanks a million!!
Wow. WOW! I’ve been in physical therapy a number of times, have TENS units, traction devices, roller, massage devices, a theracane, and the list goes on, but no significant results. I do this exercise one time and feel like it’s the answer. Can’t wait to see the results in 10 days or so.. thank you both for this! Truly the best PT’s on the internet (in their own opinion, of course), and now possibly mine, too!
My sincerest apologies. What I can tell you is, the body is high-maintenance. This did eleviate my pain, but like with most things, after the pain is gone, I have a tendency to resume normal behaviors. That resulted in the pain returning, but I do this exercise as a continuous maintenance action, and it keeps the pain under control. I need to do this more often and stop my poor posture behaviors that keep bringing my problems back. But habits are hard to break, and at my age, maybe impossible.
@@tjwalker960 definitely not Impossible to break. Just make it a Daily choice, or even a smaller goal than that, commit to doing it twice a week at first, even once a week, then go up from there
Great for strengthening scapular stabilizer muscles like the lower traps. I get such a strong contraction from this. Thanks this video was just what I needed!
Does it have a name? I would like to look it up and possibly have a sketch, diagram, photo of it. Anything at all that would make me remember it. Otherwise by tomorrow morning it would have disappeared from my memory just like frost on a sunny day.
Straight up comedy !! 😜Thanks guys I am 63 years old a starting to bend forward and walking at a slightly faster. Going to use these exercise's a couple times a day and doing my 2.5 mile walk in the night concentrating on straight posture and not walking to fast. I sure hope this helps I think this might be related to shoulder and neck and hip pain. I'll get back to you in 10 days !!😜
I had dissecting and Laminoectomy in Sept 13,2023. I am still helping. They had to do alot. I have severe hypnosis with alot of pain. I'm limited in what I can do. Also my left shoulder back muscle has been in pain for weeks and some pain in left arm to elbow. Any suggestions ? I'm starting PT in about a month.
@Bob and Brad my herniated/ pertruded disk pain started after laying flat on my back on a massage bed. Once I got up I could barely walk or bend foward. And ended up having to go to E.R. What about laying on my back on a massage bed could have caused sciatic pain?
There's a lot of duplication on RU-vid, but I've never seen this exercise before. However, for what it's worth, it doesn't impress me. I have to wonder why no one else mentions it. I'll try it for a few days, though.
Hi Bob and Brad. Hi. I have a very funny walk (gait abnormality) and it has always drawn a great deal of attention from strangers and family members. I've been laughed at because of this walk, taunted and even, as a teen, have gotten into fights from insecure girls with boyfriends. I literally live in a box because I don't want anyone to see how I walk. Now I'm 65 and still live in a box - a horrible life. Went to the chiropractor, he said I did not have a funny walk because he compared me to people that have real walking problems like a paraplegic or someone who has lost a leg due to cancer. Never judge or compare someone else's journey. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you
We are very sorry you had to go through this all your life. Everyone's journeys are just as influential as the next, regardless of what others may think or say. Never let someone diminish what you've gone through! Here is a link to all our videos that are related and hopefully can help: www.youtube.com/@BobandBrad/search?query=abnormal%20gait
