Your video are fascinating and educational. So many car video's don't show all the critical steps like cleaning and getting more parts from the junk yard. These are things we shade tree (not in AZ) mechanics can relate to that add realism and then your tips and comments on how things are done correctly are very educational. Don't sell yourself short even 2 years after you did the work. Long live the Rangers.

I love the fact that you take the time to clean the little bits. Most people just skip over that and use any old bolt and nut they have laying around. Also, the voice-over during the fast forward really worked well.

First of all, congratulations on a successful graduation to Sarah². And on to the serious part of your video. I admire your enthusiasm with which you clean the components. Of course, you always prefer to work with clean parts yourself. But I'm shocked at how careless you are with the cleaning agents. ". . . I mix them together to make it really clean right away ..." I hope that statement was just a joke on your part! You should not experiment with cleaning agents! Mixing can be fatal! In Germany there have already been deaths with these "mixtures". When cleaning toilets, users have poured two cleaners together: an acidic descaler and a chlorine-based antibacterial cleaner (active chlorine). These cleaners reacted chemically with each other when mixed. As a result, chlorine gas was released! This is a chemical warfare agent that was used in World War 1. Chlorine gas corrodes the respiratory system and lungs. This causes serious and permanent damage to the health of the person who breathes it. The alveoli in the lungs are destroyed. Death occurs slowly. The person suffocates in agony. PLEASE be careful. Often there is no one around in the store to offer help and save your life. best regards Wolfgang

Fun Fact: We used to refer to the Aerostar/Ranger/Explorer from 1990 thru 1994 as "The Trinity". They didn't share ALL of their parts but shared a number of them.

I totally agree on keeping the character of your grandmother's truck.

Something key you have is patience and motivation to make it right all the way through. An awesome restore and results. Your first start of the truck will be an exhilarating milestone.

You need to understand that those of us who are just as OCD about rebuild things as you are deeply appreciate the work and time you put into these projects. You never need to apologize about anything being boring or how long it takes. I'm doing a frame up rebuild of a 1992 Suzuki GSXR and I'm nearly as obsessive over it as you are with this truck.

Every time I work on my car, my hands get trashed, my clothes get dirty, and grease gets under my nails. Sarah? Wrenching like a boss in well coordinated clothes without a spot on them. Best of all, beautiful nails with a fade in the exact same color as Gram's truck. Awesome.

Great video, it certainly wasn't boring. Little Sarah, missing grommet drama and intentional abrasion on rear bumper pad made for an exciting view! Honestly, a Sarah -n- Tuned video, by definition, is not boring. Ever.
