Question I have a 93 civic 1.6 z6 vtec motor. Looks just like yours Aztec green pearl. And my timing belt broke. So I put a new belt on and started it and every so often I heard a tick noise. I turn car off. And what I found was 1 piston was coming up to far and barely tapping the spark plug enough to bend the end of it over. Do I have my timing off ? Cause it looks good? Any help would be great, I've been scratching my head on this one.
Why not a stock K24 long block with using oem parts. RBC intake manifold, A2 oil pump kit along with budget friendly parts, header, exhaust, intake and so on.
Looks like the car has a 96-00 DX non VTEC block with the original 92-95 VTEC head. What they used to call a "mini me" swap. I would guess something happened to the original block so they just swapped in a newer non-vtec block. Hope this helps
