If you were to have a complete different setup with the cassette, derailleurs.. etc you might be able to get more speed. As for power it's kinda tough, we are stuck with the stock motor, battery and controller. If their was a way to get a more efficient motor, a long lasting battery and adjustable/ fine tune controller: it would help the bike alot more. I have tried adding mods to the bike to help double the range, the only thing that works is adding another battery. Hope this aids you!
@@ameerally volt bike is the only canadian e bike company that has the slick look that I like. I was thinking of purchasing the voltbike urban but theres barley any feedback or review on it. And lectric xp gotta jump through to many hoops. It would be awesome if u made an update on your mariner !
@@re1gh it's alot of fun, I've been through 2 winters and butt load of flat tires but worth every second. I'm thinking about making another volt bike video, just being a little lazy right now. But soon
@@ameerally You're also riding in Montreal, which is literally a mountain and if you throttle as much normally as you did in this video it's kinda no wonder why you're barely getting range out of it. I can get 25km out of a 2ah battery because I pedal literally the entire ride
@@Nicsmovies 25km is what I normal get with both pedal and throttle. I can get alot more range if I take a a straghit / no hilly roads. Max I've gotten by going ultra slow with all settings on low (pa1) was 35km. To be honest with the test I've done with my own batteries it barely a difference between pedaling and throttling.
