This is a great idea and we should've done it. Honestly, in the script I wasn't meant to go as crazy as I did but we found it so funny so we just used it. We didn't rethink the ending though, would've been perfect!

@@mikeybrockmann not to argue against the original point but do attempt to stay away from clichés. Humor about complex social situations that are relatable usually take a nose dive the second that it is ruined by easily predictable clichés. I think this sketch is great because you thought of a funny premise and then took it to an extreme. A predictable punchline breaks the illusion of the situation and the investment in the characters. Just go with the idea until you cant anymore and then end it at a high note. This one was a banger.

Hamming it up to a 100 is the right progression but you need a twist or something that at least gives some new information to end the skit, so that the viewer remains entertained. Here it totally falls flat coz the end is the same as most of the skit. No new information is conveyed. It just goes limp in the end and that makes it easily forgettable.🤷‍♂️

So you're suggesting they take a relatively original premise and give it a generic twist at the end, lol.

Yep, sure do miss all that.
