BIG NOTE : If you're gonna pack it super tight to get the air out, do it briefly and dont leave it like that, since the cards will still try to expand, you will still see it curve a bit. ONLY BRIEFLY DO IT to get the air out. Or just DONT pack it too tightly if possible and let it naturally air out over time Note : If you plan to play in official tournaments ( edit : apparently triple sleeving is allowed when I asked bushiroad ) And if you use character sleeves they need to be licensed, licensed meaning the word markings on the bottom showing the licenses i.e like Type Moon for Fate etc etc. Nothing lewd.
Great video, clear and I really appreciate the demonstration / experiment as to what exactly are the benefits of triple sleeve. Also the product recommendations are helpful. THANK YOU!
I'm glad it helped it makes me so happy to see comments like this! I made this knowing that I think sleeving cards is really important especially if you want to play high rarity or just have cards you want to take care of in general
Thank you! This is by the far the most detailed video that I've seen on this topic. I'm a little concerned about having to shuffle 60 cards triple sleeved, that's the one thing I'd like more thoughts on. To be honest I just like the aesthetic gimmick of triple sleeving. The extra protection is just a bonus.
Good information! I'm a Magic player, but I've never heard of triple sleeving personally. I'll have to look into it when I build my expensive deck later this year.
It definitely takes a lot to get used to especially when you are shuffling. I would say that triple sleeving gives me that comfort knowing that I am completely safe to spills and random debris going in that could leave indents on cards. ( even shuffling I have to worry less about cards jamming into the sleeves )
Wish I had this video when I started playing weiss 😅 I don’t have sps in my deck, but I do love the triple sleeve protection to keep them safe (and protect my character sleeve at the same time) 😊
yea ! I personally would always triple sleeve just because I would be really bothered if any of my cards were damaged lol even if they are not high rarity
@@peanutbutterpandapuffs I once opened football cards and I got a parallel, but I checked on it and it was so bad. The inner sleeve was too big so it slid around a lot, and the toplaoder was dusty. 😭
I never heard of those actually, unless youre memeing haha. Its a tad excessive of a sleeving strategy to triple sleeve, but so far I've had a good experience with high rarity decks and preventing any kind of damage on them
Is it possible to do a triple sleeve on a Perfect Mini (Top Down) -> 25th Annivesary Pokemon Slevse (Bottom up) -> Dargon Shield Clear Matte (NOT OVERSLEVE VERSION)
I personally don’t have much experience with dragon shield . I personally didn’t like them too much . But that’s just my personal experience with it . I might have a bias with the Japanese KMC sleeves . I felt like the cut of them in general were always on point . BUT it wouldn’t hurt to try the clear matte as long as it doesn’t feel too tight
I have, I did not like them. The function of having to slide the flap into the back of the card just didnt work as good as you would "think" it should go in. As well as I feel like if I were to try to take the card out, the chance of damaging the card also seems more likely. Overall after testing everything. I honestly find the KMC sleeves to be the best ones, and I understand why so many people recommend it. I probably would go with KMC and then just double sleeving , and it would be way easier to remove if anything.
