It’s good to see this bike do some single track, it’ll shine on longer journeys with some wide open terrain and some camping gear for overnight stays I reckon.
Awesome mate. Iv ridden kenilworth quite a bit so I can get a good understanding of the difficulty of the trails your riding. Myself and many others are chasing vids like this of the cf moto as we are all super curious of real world capabilities so any more vids like this would be much appreciated man🤙
@@anotherguyonabike4726 Thanks for the message. The bike is great, obviously it's not an Enduro bike and it's heavy in this terrain, but it is quite capable of doing the tracks... With some rider effort. It's a good workout 😁
@@EddyOtway Got a Mitas knobby to go on the front, still deciding what to put on the back. The stock tyres are ok on dry dirt if you let them down a bit 👍
@@Danger_mouse I’m gonna go the Golden tyres and see how they go, it’s still pretty wet down here so it’s stopping me from going on the really fun stuff.
Is that paintjob custom? Here we only have the blue or grey version available and I see that you've got the seat from the blue one and the front fender from the grey model. Thanks.
I unfortunately can predict new inexperienced riders hitting the dirt on the 450 after all the hype and RU-vid videos , and a few finding out the …guys who can ride these heavy ( 195 kg wet😮) are pretty good experienced riders, not learners to trail riding . I feel reviewers should make this transparent , else poor riders are going to go bush drop their new bikes and if riding alone really struggle to pick them up?
Didn't stop anyone from buying fat GSs after Long Way Around came out. More than half of them couldn't pick it up by themselves.

That is also unfair when the majority of these persons were considering a transalp or a T7 in the first place, never a Crf or lighter bikes as they are alooking for all rounders and not mountain goats... Also these new kids don't want to do this. they want to go to the beach on gravel roads.
Iv been biting my tongue watching vid's of these Ibex, and thinkin { actually knowing, Iv done this } how many people are going to be fooled into thinking this a giant enduro bike when they have never even ridden anything difficult offroad before. Obviously DangerMouse has good skills, great vid BTW. 10 years ago I fell for the Hype Bike of that era, the Tiger 800XC and rode it like a dirtbike. Got into some super dangerous solo situations that IF i wasnt a musclehead @ 30 years old, would have been Rescue Mission emergency call. I went small dual sport/enduro after that, back on ADV now but actually have good skills AND the experience to know when to turn around.
@@garydoeblin2980 It's not too bad in the dirt. I find it most annoying in low speed corners on road, like small roundabouts. Otherwise, I don't even think about it 👍
Great looking bike mate , so it’s a pity that those pirates at CFMoto are taking the piss out of warranty complaints with the camshafts , just like their KTM masters. .. so watch your back & get your book stamped.
@@queenslander954 Not aware of any CF MOTO model cams having issues, only the KTM bikes. We have a good importer here in Australia (Mojo Motorcycles) and they have been very approachable in the past with any issues. By the way, KTM isn't CF MOTO's master, the alliance is split 51/49% CF MOTO / KTM. I'll certainly be keeping an eye on my oil and servicing, just the same.
@@LincolnRandall-vy9nl Hey mate, it was originally a blue bike and I ordered the full black/grey plastics and stickers. I got halfway through the changeover and sat the grey stickers on the white side panel... Looked good to me so I went with it. There's actually some method to my madness, my good mate Chris is getting a grey bike too, so they won't be identical 😁
@@Danger_mouse I did the same with the blue panels but fitted a black DR650 front guard, had to cut the front down a bit as tbh they are a bit of an ugly shape. I also dyed the lovely pink strip on the seat black.
@@kugangles9860 You certainly know it's not an Enduro bike, but it carries the weight low down and is surprisingly manoeuvrable. Definitely not the first choice bike for single track, but it will do it 🙂 Thanks for checking out the video 👍
@@indranrd9841 It's a totally different style of bike, but great in different ways. The CF MOTO is a lot heavier than the TE449. I'm told they're around 193kg fuelled up, so handling is sluggish in tight terrain, however, it's certainly not horrible. The KYB suspension is good on road, but is a little firm on trail trash and stones. I guess the 200mm of travel needs to be well controlled or it would crash through the stroke all the time. Power is good, CF MOTO claim 44hp and the exhaust has a great note 👍
