I can tell you that I've never seen anyone attempt to turbo an AMC 2.5 4 cylinder. I always thought that they were the Iron Duke GM 2.5 like I had in my 1990 S-10, but apparently they're not the same engine. My S-10 was a 2WD 5 speed turd, but it was enough to pull my 12' trailer with my riding mower, a few push mowers, my walk-behind, and some weed whackers. I don't know if upgrading those engines with a turbo, but I would imagine that it would need either a smaller turbo to utilize the small powerband, or it would need to have a cam and have new stiffer valve springs installed so it can rev higher.
The 4.0 i6 has the intake and exhaust on the same side. It's almost identical to the 2.5l setup. It's the 2.4l 4 banger they used in the 2000's that moved the intake to the other side. I have the 4.0 in my 94.
the Brazilians has I little trick on the turbo exhaust elbow that makes the best turbo sound when shifting , just weld a little place spoon shape onside the turbo elbow
watching the unboxing I can confidently say u do pay for the packaging. My turbos where packed in like fort Knox, cant complain since ups and FedEx yeet packages even if it has a fragile sticker
Not all of us do 😅I’ve seen usps, Amazon, ups do it as well. In my area Amazon is definitely the worst with that, leaving packages wet with no bag, leaving them on the bottom of stairs etc. also part of it is the shipper not making it more protected or it’s the loaders who can bang the package up before it even gets put on the truck!
@@emansfield2017 till someone can top fedex being the biggest fuck up it will still be fedex and ups. I had Manley piston and rods delivered with the box mangled a custom intake and intercooler piping kit had missing pieces because there was a hole in the box, my fuel injectors box look like it got stabbed with slits all the way threw it luckily none hit the injectors. Oh what about fedexs dump hill where one goes to dump all the packages he doesn’t wanna deliver.
