Twins that are counter rotational eliminate steering-pull.

That would be a shame, steering pull is so useful when maneuvering at slow speeds.

After having both singles and twins, I definitely prefer twins. It's windy here on the ICW, and the extra maneuverability really helps get my 30' Jeanneau onto my boat lift. (Oh yeah - the bow thruster helps, too!) Thanks for another nice video.

For any boat that you can choose between a singe or twins, the answer imho is always a single with a small kicker. Most boats with twins have a difficult time planing on one engine if they can do it at all. So, it's a slow ride home on one engine or a slow(er) ride home on a kicker. My boat has a kicker and solved the concern about getting stuck offshore for way less money. 😉

Minimum 10 videos on RU-vid with the title- Two vs One motor, and 8 of them are nothing but an obvious generalization. No single number. No test results Just like two cars are better than one but more expensive.
