I could use some prayers. Waiting on results of a biopsy for breast cancer. Doctor said he'd be surprised if it's not cancer. I have very suspicious lumps in left breast and lymph nodes. I'm scared.

We live in a mobile home and bought the thinner plywood in sheets and layed it down right over the bad floors. Was the best choice we haven't had any weak spots going on 9yrs.

We live in a double wide. We had to replace so much of our subfloor when we put hardwood down. At first we had absolutely no idea what we were doing. But we figured it out. Even learned how to do angle cuts. My husband was so proud of himself when he figured that out, lol. Let me tell you our big surprise when we pulled up the bad subfloor in our laundry room. My husband found 4 baby mice. They were so young that their eyes weren’t even open and no fur. But we never found mamma mouse.

That hallway decoration is actually called "picture frame" walls not wainscotting! But I love the picture frame walls for a different look than most. That turned out gorgeous!!!

We moved out of our 4 BR 3 bath home into a 3 BR 2 bath mobile home in 2007 so we could retire and enjoy the traveling life we we're accustomed to. Downsizing and no mortgage just grown rent was the right thing for us. We built a side addition for extra space for when our children and grandbabies visit. Our home is just as beautiful as our large brick one was. Don't ever let anyone tell you its not a home. You both did a Beautiful job. I enjoy your channel. Life's a journey and it's not a dress rehersal for the next one so, laugh often, love more and be happy. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’m like you, I’m constantly changing something in my home! I’m so thankful that also like you, my husband not only just goes with it, but helps me when I need him. I think he actually likes the surprises when he sees a reveal that he didn’t know was going through [more] changes. I think God made them this way! 🥰

My husband calls me the queen of his double wide trailer. We bought our home it’s not perfect and it’s old but we are slowly but surely getting it to where we like it. We have had to replace our floors a lot. Water leaks or just being old. It’s a process getting a mobile home repaired.

Vinyl flooring is great, and so much better than laminate flooring, easy to clean with cats and dogs and kids. Plus it is easy to put down. Your hallway looks great!

I also live in a mobile home, it’s a double wide. But we have to replace all of the flooring in the kitchen and living room because of how weak the flooring has become. The best solution for it so we don’t have to keep replacing like you said was finding the cement water resistant back boards. We are laying that down then our wood flooring. It’s affordable and the best thing out there. We used it when we remodeled one bathtub.

Same with my husband doing different things ( light fixtures)First light and first ever fan, total LONG process, scared, is the house gonna catch fire?! This is why they say to call the electrician!” Lol and now, zero problem and so fast! Same with outlets, covers etc also has repaired our vehicles which never happened before even for the most basic things. It’s empowering to just try and figure things out and learn new skills

Oh my goodness....I LOVEEEEEEE THIS ONE.....I need a notebook to write all of these goodies down...esp the floor notes. We have the mauve carpet in our '69 single wide and I'm sooooo ready to get rid of it and put that beautiful flooring down. Of course, I need prayers that I can get my 71 yr old body on the floor to put it down THEN get up when I'm done🤣🤣...love you guys sooo BIG...AND your pups too...my 3 fur babies, Chico, Daisy and Cashew say hi....lol.
