Single Women Are Lonely: True or False 

a lot of married women are more lonely than single women don't let anyone make you insecure over your status. Marriage is beautiful with the right partner but if you don't get the right person, you can fast-track to an early grave or wallow in depression

I was in the marriage for 19years and was very lonely and didn’t have the reason until I woke up from the dream of what will people think and I’m much happier ❤️❤️❤️

Hmmm Toke that conversation about why you felt shame and Adedamee didn't, very interesting to see how two people can go through same thing and have two different experiences, if we did deeper you would find that people drummed it into Tokes ears growing up that divorce is bad, and leaving her marriage caused her SHAME, SHAME can cause us to see situations differently, SHAME is the reason self harm because they are super conscious of how they will be seen and perceived, my marriage failed is different from I failed at marriage. I hope we can broaden the conversations around SHAME in Nigeria, Mental health issues are real, TRAUMA gives birth to SHAME

One thing I’ve learned in my life is that if you’re a critic of other people’s lives and lifestyle choices, or you’re always judgemental, you’d be hard on yourself if you don’t conform to societal expectations. You’ll always believe people are judging you for ”going out of line”. Some times, people no even send you. Infact, they admire your strength and decisions. But you wouldn’t know because you’re seeing yourself through their eyes. I’ve never been judgy or overly critical of people’s lifestyle choices because I believe there’s no smoke without a fire. Because of this, I don’t think of others when making personal major life decisions.
