I used to be bullied as a teenager for being a bit overweight...It bothered me a lot then and it can do a lot of damage to one's self-esteem. Now...I am in my fifties and don't give a shizzle what anybody says or does. If they mention anything I just tell them to close their mouth so that stupidity doesn't come out...had enough of nasty people. If you don't have sth nice to say...just don't say anything. We've got enough unkindness in the world on the top of our daily struggle to provide...succeed...or even just survive...to put up with other people's insecurities and frustration. Love to you Kate 💗

Once upon a time words would of hurt..Now!!!!!!.. nothing! , no reaction.. Not my insecurities, not my hurt or anger..No harm done and it's easy to offer a kind word whether it's accepted or not ..Stay strong and caring... Everybody has their story to tell..Thank you Kate..🌻✌️👍..

Yes, Kate, even though there may be many people that support a person to achieve thier dreams and goals, there is almost always one or more people that be against it, because it would not be the way they see it, would do it or agree with it. Just say," Yes, you may be right, but I am going to do it anyway." And walk away.

Yes, already happened. Sneaky boss and colleagues, I was so stressed out.. he sabotaged our friendship indeed.. hope he sees clearly now.. I asked to change my workplace in the company and I'm glad I did it cause I'm now in a better place, surrounded by people who see my value and appreciate me. Even got a salary raise. Thank you so much 💓 💗

This is something I’m seeing more today than ever. Who feels entitled to be hurtful, even hiding behind their computer. First, if you think of something mean, don’t say it, and then ask yourself, why am I having this thought? What in me is making me think this? Then, if still compelled to speak, say your view without making it about the person. I’ve found that even on issues that seems obvious, you will always find someone who doesn’t agree - the sky is blue, obvious….or is it? The guy standing next to me thinks it’s gray, like it is everyday. Come to find out, he’s color blind….so is his perspective wrong for HIM? It’s not for me, but allow him to have his own view. Unfortunately people have forgotten this, even on issues some find so obvious (name it - the environment, pregnant women, criminals, etc.). We were made different on purpose. Embrace it, and work on yourself if you don’t love what you see.
