We've been getting requests for lutong bahay recipes lately, so here's another one -- our version of Sinigang na Hipon sa Bayabas.
In Pampanga, we call Sinigang sa Bayabas as "bulanglang" -- so we have Bulanglang Paro (shrimp), Bulanglang Bangus (milkfish), Bulanglang Babi (pork), and so on, and they are very different from the bulanglang from the other Philippine regions.
