You're not sopposted to keep the same sponge for more than 2 weeks, no matter how well you clean it. I keep my old dish sponges and use them to clean my shower or whatever else
@@acorn297 You can keep the scrub daddy sponges for longer because they're durable and made from a different material, so they don't get mildew easily. You really don't have to throw them out after 2 weeks, so that was just wasteful.
Because it looks c u t e. And it's not about practicality, it's for the looks. Honestly, people doing things for the performance to appear relatable and to make things that only look satisfying when it's a really unrealistic/weird scenario (everything's relatively clean) is so strange. Besides, when's the last time you saw a cleantok where the room is legitimately dirty, the products are cheaper and accessible, and the items used like soap dispensers and trash are normal and the house looks lived in rather than staged? This is basically, "Imagine you're a rich person and your home is so new and so pretty and you have so much disposable income you can afford wildly expensive mundane things!"
@@edstellabro it ain't that deep not everybody wears their sleeves like this just to look cute and relatable 💀 ive been doing this from a young age because of my anxiety, people also do this if they are cold, or it's just more comfortable, or maybe the hoodie is too big like ?? bffr it's just a sleeve of a hoodie it really aint that deep, let people wear what they wanna wear and however they want to wear it 💀
You can clean your scrub daddy in the diswasher but if they are beyond that, you can actually send scrubdaddies back to the company and they will give u coupons for new ones 😊
Microwave them for 15-30 seconds after every use (once a day) and you could definitely get them to last a month or so. Make sure they’re soaked and wet before you microwave them though…or else they’ll burn 🤣🫣
dont listen to the idiots talkin bout UnSaNiTaRy . Please, WHAT would happen? literally never heard of anyone getting sick from something like this lmfao
Also for taps and anything stainless steel or glass (or even countertops so I suppose multi surface) you can use a microfibre cloth, half a cup vinegar half cup water, a couple teaspoons of olive oil, about 5 drops of soap and however many drops of your favourite essential oil you’d like if you dont like vinegar smell (i use lemon) put it in a glass spray bottle and shake before use. It is so amazing and dust repellent and leaves zero streaks. I swear by it.
Watching a cleaning video does not mean you know how to properly clean. 3:1 water/white vin works just as well as all that vinegar… and scrub daddies are literally dishwasher safe..
so everyone has the same aesthetic now? i thought i was watching a stolen video and now i realize that it's a different person but the styles are the same
These “aesthetic” videos are just people wasting their time, products, and brain cells, just to cope over their own insecurities and issues. The one time I decide to scroll through shorts again…. I see nonsense like this And the comments usually are “Omg you’re so aesthetic like I CANT 😭💅😍” “Her life is just ⭐️ 😍😭😭” Women ☕️
@@V33EX I mean not to bring in statistics or anything, but majority of these aesthetic “tap nails on everything I open” “show productivity by doing 3 simple cleaning tasks for an entire day” channels, are mainly women. Edit: not to mention, the only ones hyping her up, are women. Don’t mean it in a sexist way, just the truth
Just a few tips, from a cleaner. (You’re more than welcome to disregard I know this type of comment can get annoying) When cleaning your sink don’t forget to use a toothbrush to scrub around the hole, (the little ring where it connects to the sink) there’s usually quite a bit of buildup and most people don’t do this. It makes your sink look so much cleaner in my opinion. Also if you use more baking soda when you clean your drain, it usually cleans better, since it’s a bit thicker and it doesn’t just immediately slide down like a liquid. Also I absolutely am in love with your dish soap dispenser that is so cute!
you don’t clean your sink after washing dishes in it? that’s the easiest way to attract cockroaches and ants into your kitchen. ALSO WHY THROW AWAY THE SPONGES H U H
@@acorn297 The waste of plastic will kill us faster than a sponge older than 2 weeks . Or just prove how many people died for the use of a sponge of 3 months.
since no one is pointing this out: baking soda is basic. vinegar is acidic. combining them and pouring them down your drain doesnt do anything. the foaming bubbles you see is carbon dioxide being formed and releasing as gas. its basically like pouring water down your drain lmao. just buy a dedicated drain cleaner if youre that worried
@@AryamAmin well this is her job, so is it truly time consuming? and i don't see how the "material wasting" is such a big deal if she's the one paying for it.
The people complaining about her throwing away an old sponge are so nasty. You're not supposed to keep the same sponge for more than 2 weeks, and even that would be a stretch. No matter how well you clean it it's still gonna have week old bacteria in it
To clean your sink simply wash after doing the dishes with washing up liquid, remember your sink is really just the same as a saucepan and needs no special treatment. If you need to give it a bit more of a scrub use bicarbonate of soda. Any scrubbies can be washed and reused.
Save vinegar by using 1/3 cup of vinegar with 1 cup of warm water…it will still kill bacteria. Also, the “Pink Stuff” isn’t for dishes, so you should use a different sponge or a washable cloth to clean your sink.
Oh God, you're just casually cleaning your sink, YOUR home and people are here just to judge and throw hateful comments. I understand how hard it is to always get these kind of comments, unfortunately it's the burden of work...Just want to say that I love your videos and how you take care of your house and family ❤
Acabei de fazer em casa, sem luva, usando cif, detergente, veja e álcool 92% veja só minha casa limpa e desinfetada, ah e o Bombril e esponja de Scott Brite não pode faltar. Bjos de luz❤
It doesn't make sense to mix baking soda with vinegar because baking soda is a basic compound, and vinegar is acidic. Essentially, they cancel each other out. It's better to use them separately for cleaning.
people arguing about her throwing the scrub daddies.. if it gets old just throw it it did break my heart too but if you come at me saying “omg it was in perfect state tho🤓” i could not care less to look at the state of a sponge
THIS IS REALLY AESTHETIC AND MAKES ME WANNA CLEAN I DONT GET WHY PEOPLE SRE MAD TJOUGH WHEN YOU USE A SPONGE FOF LONG IT DOES START TO GET ROUGH OR SMELL
