I kind of like that though, lol; seemed to me like he was so focused on finding the living waters and worrying about Grogu that he wasn't was cautious as he usual is. Poor man could not catch a break this episode lol
He doesn't get dragged down at the end, I don't know why everyone is saying that, he had just had blood drained from his body and stepped into water wearing metal armor and stepped off a cliff, when bo dives in you can see the broken stair case
When I was a kid and all we knew about Boba Fett was he was wearing the armor of "the Mandalorian Super Commandos", I always dreamed of having a show like this. Shit makes me emotional 😂
and a reality check for Bo. She's all flippant reading about the Mythosaur like it's a fairytale and then she gets eye to eye with one and her worldview has changed I'd say. lol
@@swordmonkey6635 I think getting eye to eye with a Mythosaur would change anyone's world view. Lol When do ya think was the last time anyone saw one?
The way Bo katan said "What are you looking at?" To Grogu i feel like Din and Bo are going to end up together Noone jumps in a weird lake to save someone unless you really like them and she risked her life for him twice. Plus Din saying those nice things about her father definitely melted her heart.
It reminded me of Ku'dar Mub'at (spelling?) from the Bounty Hunter Wars books from legends! And knowing Favreau who knows what he was inspired by for it! 😂
What a fantastic episode; loved every second of it. Seeing Mandalore in ruins was emotional and I teared up when Din said "our people" when telling Grogu about Mandalore. The Mythosaur was just wow - I have too many thoughts and questions, lol. I loved the foreshadowing from Ep1 of the swearing in ceremony being interrupted then seeing Din's re-swearing ceremony here get interrupted; he never finished reciting the vow. He didn't finish saying "From this moment on, I shall never remove my helmet" which makes me wonder if he'll have that chance next episode. I think deep down he's still conflicted about that (he removed his helmet for Grogu out of love and he has no regrets about that) and I think that's what's spiritually hindering his ability to wield the Darksaber. Great reaction as always and can't wait for next week! 😁
Love the SOAD reference!! Great job guys! Bo Katan was so boss in this episode! Great to get to know her better and hopefully this renews her faith in Mandalorians and reclaiming her planet!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought those creatures were like the Morlocks from The Time Machine as the original 1960 film has always been my favourite movie.
That creature had a "War of the worlds" look to it. It trapped him like a cage, it stuck a tube and siphoned blood from its victim, and piloted a monstrous vehicle.
They are called the living waters because the last mythosaur lives in them. It’s explains why they baptise in waters containing the giant crocodilian in ep 1. Bo Kataan was never a believer, perhaps she is now.
First episode was really good but this one was great, the look of the Mandalore and the Mythosaur at the end looked amazing :) Can't wait what happens next :)
This Episode should have been called...."The Trials of Din in distress" All he wanted to do was go take a bath and things kept on going wrong. But now he and Bo-Katan have taken a bath with a Mythosaur....If that doesn't make them True mandalorians I don't know anything anymore.....xD
I think that by the end of this season, we will see Grogu Force-grab the Dark Saber and use it similar to how Yoda fought Dooku. LOL, what if the first comprehensible word Grogu says is it looks up at Bo-Katan and goes "mama!".
Highly likely the Mythosaur grabbed him from the pool or after he sank (if he did indeed fall on his own). - He dropped at free-fall speed (not possible in water due to density). - In water even VERY HEAVY objects drop at a slow rate. - Bo-Katan was heavier because she was in full gear yet dropped MUCH slower (over 20x slower) - Bo-Katan had to use her jet pack yet couldn't even catch up with only 3 second off-set The Mythosaur is NOT connected to Jarin as it is to Bo-Katan. Therefor it would see Jarin as a threat (or food) hence it makes sense for it to drag Jarin down. In the clone wars it is revealed that only her family could tame them and were deeply connected to them which would actually explain why she was able to swim so close to its eye (while stealing its snack) without being harmed. It must have felt the connection that she is kin to its master thus would NOT harm her which indicates that she will be the one (not him) to ride the Mythosaur. Don't forget, she used to bathe in these waters as a child and is of the royal bloodline that goes back thousands of years,
Darn tootin'! She's got the looks, the humour and relentless energy to enotte reactions in many a video produced. But for that, you have tip your cap's to Mr. Rob. Without him, they be no party and no Vanessa time! And their a perfect match. This is the way!
A fantastic episode....lots going on, characters working together....and the mythosaur...damn. When it ended I yelled........NO Waiting a week for the next part 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱 I need strong coffee now. Too early 😎
its a disturbing thought but i wonder if the cyborg thing used to be a Mandalorian that ended up like that due to the fusion bombing.......he got desperate to survive....the parts left around its lair looked like Mandalorian armour and it was taking blood.....blood transfusions, most Mando's are human.....likely did organ grafts too
Bo is my most interesting character this season. Most of the time she's obviously not a bad guy, but I don't know where her head's at these days or what she'll decide. Fun!
The creatures reminded me of Morlocks from Time Machine movie. I said same thing as I was watching it. the other creature in the mech crab reminded me of the Daleks from Doctor Who. I think she made a mistake not running the dark aber thru that thing's eye.
i made the prediction that grogu would need to rescue mando By going to Bo katan The problem is I thought it would happen later in the season.. not so quickly.. lol Not complaining that was just a little predictable though.. But it was still a pretty great episode And the great Mythosaur showing up Even Bo Katan was Surprised.. 😮 The most recent episode of the bad batch was pretty great too.. Not gonna lie I felt pretty sad seeing Sundari like that
SO….do we think Bo or Mando with tame the Mythisaur or Grogu? Will grogu be the first Mandalorian Jedi of their age? Personally Bo is the better fighter, knows and wants to lead her people and Mando will help only not lead. His allegiance is to his group and the armorer, that wont change i think. I wonder if Grogu will get any time armor…little man armor
I think that Din will be able to wield the Darksaber with much more ease now, because now that he's bathed in the Living Waters below the Mines of Mandalore, while reciting the Creed (don't think it'll be an issue that halfway or three quarters into the Creed that he fell/sank to the bottom 😅) a great mental and emotional weight has been lifted from his heart and mind 🤔😌.
thats an interesting theory - it might be that she sends people there to redeem themselves because if you bath in the waters and survive then you are deemed worthy of redemption because you either fought off or outwitted the mythosaur
Okay a month later and I’m STILL trying to figure out if Din was pulled down into the waters by the mythosaur OR if he simply sank like a rock….I swear he sank. My boyfriend argues he was pulled down. Does anyone know the answer to this?
"It's like Nascar or Daytona" I'm British so I may have this wrong, but isn't Daytona a race that features in Nascar? Why would it be one or the other?
Another thing ... Mando lost the dark saber to that eyeball droid when he was captured. Bo Katan recovered the saber and defeated the Eyeball Droid and its tank droid IN BATTLE. The Sword is now rightly HERS !!
It was obvious from this episode that the Grogu is NO LONGER a baby. To refer to him as baby Yoda is not just inappropriate but an insult to his level of skill, even he is cute as hell.
