Thanks for another video, I’m glad you like ship options! The gamepass also allows the customising of nameplate fronts, propellers, and the horn! -Elite Studios Mod Team
Submarines can't catch me in TSW. I'm the finest skipper the game has ever seen. :) That said, the most satisfying thing about this video was watching the submarine get sunk along with the Gillett. As the saying goes: if I'm going down, I'm taking you with me. 🏴☠️ Really cool seeing you test out the Ship Options too! Hoping to customize my own ship somewhere down the line, so seeing this, tutorial if you will, helps out a lot.
Nice vid Jesse also at the bottom of ship options where it says “toggle ropes” that is rigging for ships I would put it on makes ships look more realistic

I made my own ship heres the story of it. Launched in 1976, the SS Colombia was launched, Her sister ship was SS Venezuela, was launched in 1960. SS Colombia's maiden voyage was on June 30, 1978. Heres where it goes wrong, On her 5th voyage she was traveling from Brazil to Pula when someone put a bomb in the starboard stern located at boiler room 17. She started sinking. In 2008, Harvey Robert found the wreck of the coast of san Francisco and Pura Island.
Amidst the chaos of World War II, where the seas were as treacherous as the battlefields themselves, the SS Gillet sailed. She was a vessel of steel, her hull proudly bearing the scars of previous journeys across the unforgiving waters. But on this fateful day, fate had darker plans for her. It was a misty morning when the SS Gillet left port, her engines roaring to life as she cut through the waves with a sense of purpose. Loaded with supplies crucial to the war effort, she was a lifeline to many, a beacon of hope in troubled times. The crew, a mix of seasoned sailors and fresh-faced recruits, worked tirelessly to keep her on course. The captain, with his weathered face and steely resolve, stood at the helm, his eyes scanning the horizon for any signs of danger. But danger, it seemed, had already set its sights on the SS Gillet. As the day wore on and the sun climbed higher in the sky, ominous clouds began to gather on the horizon. The wind picked up, howling through the rigging like a warning. The sea, once calm and welcoming, grew restless, its waves rising and falling with a menacing rhythm. The crew, sensing the impending storm, hurried to secure the ship, battening down hatches and tying off ropes. But even their best efforts could not thwart the fury of the ocean. As the storm descended upon them with all its wrath, the SS Gillet fought valiantly against the raging tempest. Waves crashed over her bow, sending salty spray cascading across the deck. The wind howled like a banshee, tearing at the sails and threatening to capsize her with every gust. The captain, his hands gripping the wheel with white-knuckled determination, shouted orders above the roar of the storm. The crew, drenched to the bone and clinging to whatever they could find, obeyed without question. But it was a battle they could not win. A massive wave, towering like a mountain, rose up from the depths with a deafening roar. The SS Gillet, dwarfed by its sheer size, was lifted high into the air before crashing down with bone-jarring force. The impact was devastating. The hull groaned and protested as it was torn asunder by the relentless force of the sea. Water poured in through gaping wounds, flooding the lower decks with terrifying speed. Desperate shouts and cries filled the air as the crew scrambled for safety. But there was no escape from the icy embrace of the sea. The SS Gillet, once a proud symbol of defiance, now lay broken and sinking beneath the waves. Her lights flickered and died, plunging her into darkness as the ocean claimed her as its own. The storm raged on, uncaring and relentless, as the last remnants of the SS Gillet slipped beneath the churning waters. And so, in the heart of a storm-tossed sea, the SS Gillet met her end. A tragic tale of a ship and her crew, lost to the merciless fury of war. Only the howling wind and the crashing waves bore witness to her final moments, a haunting requiem for those who sailed aboard her.
