I don't know where did admin get the information. In fact, VN soldier number at that time in north border was 50.000 men while china sent 600.000 men. Because the most VN soldiers were in cambodia, they were fighting against polpot. Then VN sent 1 army corps from cambodia back to the north VN by Soviet airplanes, but china soldiers had retreated before the VN came reinforcement
