Sure, except fov isn't wide enough to go at that speed. Slammo! But otherwise, even a day camera will be a great help with my high bow. I'm 6'2" and still stand on my toes to try and see 15yds or more ahead of me.
I personally believe that these ultra low light (black silicone sensors) would be 2x as effective if they could be used with fusion software with thermal
Not completely accurate. There is a converter box needed for the information displays to get Syonix to work. Feel free to reach out for more info. Aftersales@ecys.com
Hi thanks for the video. Do you know how the quality looks when streaming and going 30 knots? I’m not planning to hardwire an analog video cord. Thanks!
The quality will be the best with a hardline connection, but the iPad with the WiFi streaming was good. It's what we did for this video. I'm sure there's been updates to the software since we shot this over a year ago as well!
You can analog/video hardline directly to the display screens. In this video we were using WiFi linked to the iPad app, but for best results hardline would be the way to go.
Have you directly compared the Sionyx night wave to the Flir m232? I'd like to hear your opinions. Regardless of the price difference, just functionality.
Thanks for checking out the video Kyle! No, I don't believe the Go12 can plug and play with the Sionyx Nightwave. You may have to convert the analog sionyx video to a digital format. I'd contact Sionyx to see what you can do. There might be a way!
It's a completely different ball game. The light will certainly be cheaper, but you won't be able to see night for day the way the Sionyx displays it. It's like using a flashlight compared to nightvision.
Thanks for the video. I’ve been eyeing one of these. A buddy of mine has one on his boat. I’m hoping I can check it out after dark soon. He says he loves it so far.
@@EastCoastYachtSales so went yesterday morning. It really is amazing. We left the marina, my biggest concern is being able to see crab pot markets since they are small and hard to see at night. They light up pretty good on the sionyx camera though. He also has a infra red light bar. However there’s a lot of glare off the bow of the boat with that on and it doesn’t function very well. He’s going to be trying to relocate it soon. Being able to see at night on screen is amazing though. There is some fuzziness to it but nothing that would cause it not to show you what you need to see at night. I’ll definitely be picking one up to put on my boat now.
I would agree with that statement. Hardline connection is certainly the way to go for no lag, but it is a marine engineered product so it should probably stay on a boat 😂
Yes the camera has a built in WiFi feature. You can connect to the live feed with the Sionyx app on iPhone/iPad. It does lag at times, as you can see in this video when we cut to the iPad screen, but it's still a great tool.
