Saw them live a dozen times, traveled across states, and across the country from NY To CAL! The Banshees never disappointed me live because they gave it there all with no tricks. Sometimes Sioux's voice was a bit strained, but never cared. Anyone who is a Banshees fan knew they were in the presence of brilliance! It's totally amazing they lasted as long as they did! Not one bad album. Not a single one. Banshees played over 1600 live shows!

best lyrics of all. swallowing diamond, cutting throat, your teeth when you grin, reflect like beams off tombstones, a jamboree of surprises playing Russian roulette, or the lucky dip, clenched fist on your heart, cold breath in your lungs, a silver tongue for the chosen one, heavy magnum in your side, or a bloody thorn, skating bullets on angel dust, in a dead sea of fluid mercury, baby piano cries under you heavy, index and thumb pull some strings, let them sing.BRILLIANT!

These lyrics are just amazing!! I was a kid when I saw this tour - Siouxie and The Banshees in Washington D.C. at D.A.R. Constitution Hall.

I was too... I lived in Berkeley at the time. I remember when she came on stage she was wearing a black and white bodysuit, with a white feather boa.

They're awesome on record but live was just so exciting I can't tell you how many times I saw them and every time I was just like freaking out over them!

Majestic Wordsmiths they are together, her and he. She the gaunt goth queen of England and he the great Britian goth king Robert Smith. She and he are way better off together rather than selerated. Better off together as opposed to apart solo single alone individual artist. Similar and equally glorious in scope for 1984 pop output was recorded and produced by iconic maestro Prince Purple Rain album movie via muse musician milk chocolate colored sensation Canadian the beautiful one and only Vanity.

The comments sections breathe so much life and flavor into the music I grew up listening to …. being that I turned 50 this year it’s kinda amazing what I’ve read in videos just like this one…just expands everything about the bands I have loved for a large part of my life … thank you all for sharing so much …. Have any of you heard of the Glove ? Check them out I think you will be surprised how awesome that ..incarnation of this kind of music actually is - like an animal , -punish me with kisses are 2 of my favorites
