Siquijor's Finest Resort 🇵🇭 [Luxury Philippines] 

The most annoying thing about staying in a hotel is encountering cockroaches and spiders. It’s sad that you have encountered them both! You can kindly tell the resort and ask them to find ways to improve the cleanliness of the environment. This will also be a help to them! Although the scenery of the resort is quite beautiful, it is a pity that the swimming area is restricted. They should charge half the price! This is the resort with the least number of tourists that I have ever seen. There must be a reason why not many tourists stay there! This experience tells us that the information on the Internet may not be correct, it is only correct to experience it yourself! Fortunately, their food satisfies you! This is one of the reasons why I stick with Boracay. Hands down the best beach FOR ME. Plus the lively vibe and lors of food options - from affordable to expensive.

I've been in siquijor last august, we stay in DOLCE AMORE, affordable, they have an italian restauant, good pizzas,very clean room, and nice staff. . we'll go back again next year january, same resort for sure. you should visit also lagason falls they have 13 falls in there.

I think you should consider Camiguin as part of your trip. Small island but with a lot of stunning views. You should visit white island, mantigue island, the falls around the island and other spots in the island 😊

We were at Tubod Marine Sanctuary in the summer and it was packed. We saw a lot of fish and giant clams. Siquijor is very quiet after summer season. It is definitely not a party island - you go there more for relaxation. And definitely Coco Grove is not for the budget traveler.

Wow, brought back memories from May 2018, 5 day visit there and the resort still looks great! I agree it is definitely a couples/family resort and not a singles/backpackers place of stay. Baha Bar up the road is great place for food and music. We attended the BBQ dinner which had a good food, music and dancing. We encountered the same Trike over prices and rented a scooter to see the island! Thanks for the share Zane, keep em coming!

Beautiful Siquijor

Zane, if u want to taste the best tropical fruits there u come during summer time from March to May. They have the best waternelon, mangoes, pineapple, and bananas the yellow from davao are the best in the world. Many more delicious fruits there like pomelo from davao also. U try native foods like karekare, pork kechon paksiw, lengua, embutido, morcon, arroz valenciana.

The place looks very nice but yes, but yes, more than P4000 for the cheapest room, on a deal, is overpriced. Spiders may be expected because it's next to a garden but cockroaches are a totally different story especially you're near the "eating area". A no-no.😅 Still, enjoy the beautiful Siquijor. 😊

Yes, Coco Grove gorgeous. I stayed there last year. Also I stayed at Infinity Sands, sister resort to one up in the hills. I will be back next month.

Woohoo free water. The place is very similar to somewhere. I stayed in cambodia except it was even standard price of fifty five dollars including the breakfas. No bugs and a giant bathtub plus 3 swimming .. I would much rather stay in. Mandela Beach resort,Danang Vietnam. Currently around $40 a night, including amazing. The fay breakfast twenty third floor infinity pool viewing the whole harbor, Gym and night club. Plus 2 or 3 restaurants. Nice big well lit super clean Rooms

Camiguin is another small island like Siquijor but I think there are more things to do in Camiguin than in Siquijor.

It's a Mediterranean type of resort and way different from the usual zen or minimalist resorts or hotels nowadays. I personally prefer that type of resorts however they must get rid of the cockroaches. Still i have to say that resort is really nice

I just think, if you’re staying in a “jungle type” resort and on the ground floor, expect roaches and insects… plus is this in the Provence? Ask any local and I bet they say this place is really nice

At 24:26 i was surprised the Filipino drivers calls tricycle now tuktuk as well😂😂Maybe foreigners that came from Thailand then to Philippines keeps on calling it tuktuk instead of tricycle so they just name it the same now😂😂😂

Thank you for the warning. I find a lot of resorts in the philippines are really a price ridiculous.. They don't have a clue how to provide the amenities. And they focus on things that that should be typical even in much lower priced establishments.. Right now I can get a four star resort across the road from the beach in vietnam for about thirty eight dollars, including excellent buffet breakfast.. Big rooms no bugs, And all the staff were my friends all wanting to visit and help me.. Hotel manager went out of her way too Offer me personal tour.. I stayed there 2 or 3 times even for a couple of weeks. This place shown appears to be about a $50 over priced, even at that.

You're actually complaining about too much seaweed? I've been to siquijor five times and stayed at Coco Grove every time. First time was around 2002 and it was About 20 bucks a night then. Your room was by the main lobby so yes probably noisy. The reason there was nobody in the water is low tide. At high tide there are people snorkeling but it's very shallow. As for nobody on the beach its very hot not much shade which is why they have several pools. If you're comparing it to California beaches yes not the same but it is a resort not just a beach. That room in CA would be four or five hundred a night. It's the best resort on the island. The people are great. Joy the manager has been there over twenty years. Mackey the bird in front is crazy old. Maybe pang lao has a nicer resort but WAY more crowded.
