Taken from Sir David Attenborough's Breaking Boundaries: The Science of Our Planet.
“Corals bleach when the waters around them get too warm, something that’s happening with increasing frequency and intensity as a consequence of global warming.” Three of the five biggest coral reef bleaching events have occurred in the past five years and half the Great Barrier Reef’s corals have already died. Sir David Attenborough narrates Breaking Boundaries: The Science of Our Planet, a new documentary that takes the audience on a discovery of planetary thresholds we must not exceed and offers up solutions to protect the Earth.

@@jxyden8380 well, he lied about the polar bears, wallrusses, albatrossses, coral reef, wild fires....He tells us that all of that is due to climate change, but that is all debunked by real scientists. Pollar bear number is highest ever according to Susan Crockford, wallrusses were not committing suicide due to climate change, they were chased by the same polar bears he claimed are close to extinction, the claim that albatrosses were "divorcing" due to climate change is beyond stupid, coral reef is thriving according to the great coral reef expert Peter Ridd and wildfires are not occuring due to climate change, but they are caused by arsonists and forest missmanagement. And no, "we the people" are not killing gorillas, it is done by local poachers for selling on local exotic meat markets, so imposing collective guilt on all humanity instead of pointing out the real problem is hypocritical. The climate mob uses his sweet voice to spread panic and push the climate hysteria in every household through these heartbreaking, but deceiving pieces of shite they call documentaries.

@@cn5776 "its growing back because of massive efforts by people who care" What efforts specifically? Do you have any idea how big the GBR is? A few hippies in rubber dinghies boats have no ability to change anything so massive. The reef is in great shape because it was never in trouble to begin with. You were lied to and now you need to invent more lies to cover up for the old lies. "unfortunately the same ignorance that has caused this disaster" There was never any disaster. You were lied to.

The most diverse coral reefs are in that ocean triangle between Northern Australia, Southern Asia and New Guinea where the sea is warmest. Coral that has ejected it's phytoplankton is not dead or bleached like the sea will not become acidic they are emotive words of exaggeration. They take on fresh phytoplankton and carry on as before. Patric Moore, Greenpeace founder challenged David Attenborough about some of his alarmist statements, falling Walrus's being a particular example, "that is what I am told to say" was his answer!!!!!!

The corals are not dead when they bleach. The Barrier reef coral is not dead. Corals have increased by 2% in recent years. The most diverse coral reefs are in the warmest oceans, the warmer the ocean, the more diverse the corals are. . . . These are facts, inconvenient facts for the climate fearmongering/virtue signalling club.
