One of my favourite All Blacks. All Blacks legend Sir John "JK" Kirwin. JK is one of the best of All Blacks legends in the history of the All Blacks after my uncle Wayne "Uncle Buck" Shelford and Sir Ian "Jonesy" Jones of course and never forget the All Blacks highest kicker Sir Grant "Foxy" Fox of course.
Great interview - I hung on every word. "Can anyone change yesterday?...no...can you tell me what is going to happen tomorrow?...no...the past for me is quite irrelevant (laughter)." His command of being present is precise - intention, attention, & attitude - fantastic stuff here. Thank you for posting.
Just an excellent discussion with an All Black legend. JKs Dad was very wise, as was JK in being open with his challenges, seeking help and now giving back. Its ok not be ok.
This is awesome, I always wondered why JK is always argumentative on the rugby show, now I understand. And I agree with his view on giving his point of view, right or wrong. Goldie should take a queu from JK. His view about life etc, talked about on this podcast is everything I agree with, excellent podcast, thanks boys
