@David Rosenberg Going on strike solves nothing. I’m fact, he has less power outside the sport than making a statement in it. For a strike to work- ALL DRIVERS need to participate. And that’s not going to happen with this grid. Only Sebastian, Sir Lewis and Mick care for human rights abuses in Middle Eastern countries. The other drivers don’t even give a fuck what countries they race in. Daniel and Max have both explicitly stated this in interviews in Saudi Arabia. Lando said he doesn’t care in his Twitch stream. Carlos and Charles haven’t said anything against it, Mazipin and Stroll said nothing as well. Pierre and Tsunoda managed to avoid the topic altogether! So disappointing from most of the grid not even a peep of care about what they’re doing in these terrible places. At least Sir Lewis and Seb ACTUALLY TRY to bring attention to- and change what they can.

Until it was released in 2020 that Hamilton would be knighted. I would tell myself every year "why isn't he knighted, already?" He has done so much for the image of Great Britain and is a great ambassador. Seeing what he has done in F1 in raising awareness is amazing. He deserves all the success he gets.

@@user-dt5fk4cs9j you obviously don’t know much about motor racing. This had nothing to do with bad strategy. Lewis dominated the race from start to the final lap. The rules were broken to give Max the win. Simple.

I am definitely not a Hamilton fan but he deserves this so much, he is an incredible driver and altho i am VERY happy that Verstappen won, he will be back and he will definitely get his 8th title and maby even his 9th

My grandfather travelled to england from northern ireland to help put out fires as a 14 year old boy during the german nazi blitz as bombs fell from the sky. Later in life would be blown up by a bomb whilst attending a fire during the troubles back home and lost fingers, parts of his intestine and bladder and died a short while later with cancer in conjunction with his injuries and gets the lowest possible award in the MBE. This yoke drives a car around the track and is Knighted. I know which one is a hero to me.

@@SolidusSnapes He was cleared of all involvement in Spygate (unlike Alonso) and was actually instructed by McLaren to lie during Liegate. Unsure why you seem to think that's some sort of conspiracy that he orchestrated and not what actually happened. Not sure how either of things have much influence on his on-track prowess either, which is what he was knighted for.
