This is a super labor intensive doll, which is why they don't do them very often. Over the past few years, I've noticed that they keep reusing accessories, jewelry and hair styles in an effort to reduce their production costs. This doll is so intricately customed that it's jaw dropping. They must of spent a fortune on her actual production.

Gorgeous doll, I can't imagine anyone would want to customize her & give her a more enchanting mermaid look.

She is a beauty! When I opened the box I was blown away. I also can't wait to see what comes next in this line. We will keep our fingers crossed for a fairy. Thank you for sharing the unboxing.

Gorgeous doll and AMAZING detailed accessories!! I have the red haired “ Dress Code” Vanessa doll released in 2011 which is the Vanessa 2.0 face sculpt which was renamed and is now used as Violaine, and I LOVE this face sculpt!! I passed on ordering this gift set as I have multiple pre-orders including the Kyori gift set and the trunk, which are all coming due soon. $$$ PLUS the convention dolls!! Ugh! 😩 Seeing your review I’m kinda kicking myself for not getting her but we can’t have them all!! 😉 Congrats on adding her to your collection!! She’s really REALLY cool!! EXQUISITE! She is so gorgeous and all the details are so thoughtful and well executed. She is one of the reasons I should have joined the W Club last year. However, my two other reasons, Bellamy After Dark, and GRWM Nadja are the others. I managed to get my hands on Bellamy and Nadja and I have high hopes of acquiring Volaine in the future. I loved this review. It blew me away.

Hmmmm, she looks much better in this video than in the promo shots, but I'm not sure I like Violaine still. But I love mermaids so much, I still want this set to redress another doll with. Plus the accessories are phenomenal! But 2500 seems pretty small for an edition size so I'm not sure I'll make it on the waitlist. I'm pretty far back. I hope they make more mermaids! And elves and fairies. 😍

No it isn't a user error. I couldn't get the second hook on her green skirt either. It's very tight. I am probably going to email integrity Monday about it.

Yours have the same defect like mine. On the skirt The wrinkle because the sew in underwear.

She's gorgeous, one of the better mermaid dolls ever made. But I'll stick with my mermaid playline, Barbies, a lot cheaper.

Her name is pronounced as 'Vyo-len' in french.. I like this doll but I skipped on her because I'm not a fan of dolls with painted lashes. it looks crooked and wierd in certain angles
