Yes... they did this ... health in first place always.. she has to take good care of herself , so she can do her job very well as a singer..

Also, she lost her mom right before they fired her. I do remember reading an interview where she stated she "saw it coming" but jeez that was a pretty inconsiderate time to do that.

@@ComaLies225 Oh god I remember that. Her mom died, thus Ailyn fell into a lot of health issues and then during that, Sirenia fired her and claimed it was a mutual understanding, which it was not.

Fani Aria yea it was messed up. She also Said Sirenia did not help when it came to getting her certain foods as she’s diabetic and gluten intolerant, she can only eat certain things and they refused to help her on a number of occasions.

Llorenç Balsach No the seven vikings never made it home from their voyage, hence seven widows weeping. listen to the lyrics their ship went down because of the sirens took their ship down and left seven widows behind. It's in the lyrics. Mermaids are also referred to as the sirens of the sea in old Norths folklore. Mermaids would lure sailors (Vikings) with their beautiful songs and cause them to crash into cliffs or large rocks then they would pull them into the sea and eat them. She is saying sirens not pirates.

What happened to the other female singer? Seems like when she left, this band went beyond Valhalla-ish and is now in some Viking / Pee Wee Herman dimension. They should change their name to 'Oden's Dungeon' because this sounds like bellows of torture coming from an underground jail cell. This is ridiculous. Horrific lyrical content and an incredibly boring and mundane melody. And the video just plain sucks ass! What a waste of a good band.

i know u can also lok at kamelot band is from tampa Florida but 2nd vocalist was from Norway and present vokalist is from Sweden. and present vokalist in arch is alissa white gluz from Canada a friend of mine Plays in ancestral legasy they have a Spannish vokalist. my point was the band is Norwegian

I recently read an interview with Ailyn. She said the band kicked her out because they thought her health problems were too big and she couldnt sing because of it. They didnt even talk to her before the decision was made. Seems like Morten screwed her big time

Ailyn is sick (her condition went bit worse back then) and her mom died :( she needed support but instead of that Morten kicked her out. She never spoke to me one bad word about the band ! she is not that kinda person

Valaki en mi opinión estas algo equivocado que las acciones de unas personas no condenen a todos la filosofía y la forma de vida que da a ver el cristianismo es muy hermosa habla sobre el amor al hermano y las buenas acciones independientemente de si existe Dios o no recuerda tener mas cuidado con lo que dices porque asi como hablan mal de esta música que por cierto me gusta mucho tampoco debes criticar y condenar a justos por pecadores

I think se might have been sacked and I won't be surprised. Her voice in studio is good and I liked it as well but all those live shows I've seen she just couldn't handle the stuff.

This is the first Sirenia song I have ever heard. I wanted so badly to hate the guitarist, hate the SONG, but the singer's voice was amazing, and she's just strikingly beautiful. I couldn't get the video out of my head, so I listened to the whole thing. I practically fell in love with the band, and now you tell me that the singer is different now? Well done Sirenia. you raised my hopes, and dashed them quite expertly.

Ailyn is the best singer in Sirenia is no doubt :(

Han pasado 10 años y todavía no hacen un álbum tan bueno como este. Cuando Ailyn se fue parece que a Morten no le bastó con matar a su mejor vocalista, también mató el sonido tan majestuoso que habían alcanzado en los dos últimos álbumes con ella. Sirenia se había hecho respetar en el género por fin y Morten tiró todo por la borda.

Yo no sé pero a este grupo le gusta mucho cambiar de vocalista,pareciera que no se sientieran satisfechos con nadie. Despues de Aylin no he seguido escuchando más a este grupo.

Entiendo que no es ideal cuando los vocalistas reciben toda la atención y la música pasa a segundo plano, en el otro extremo está Within Temptation o Lacuna Coil que bajaron la calidad de su música aprovechándose de sus vocalistas. Pero Morten no da ni una ni la otra, estancó a Sirenia en la voz y en la composición también. Te voy a dar un contexto largo: Ailyn empezó siendo recibida con cierta apatía porque no la favorecía mucho la música simple de la banda hasta que ella misma sugirió un cambio y escuchó a los fans, entonces Morten sentó cabeza y trabajó duro para entregar un discazo como Perils of The Deep Blue, luego vino The Seventh Life Path que volvió a mantener el listón alto pero su pequeño gran error de darle una producción pobre afectó al disco. Y en vez de seguir avanzando prefirió sacar a Ailyn de Sirenia al año siguiente y entregó un álbum mejor producido pero muy inferior en composición. Ahora con nueva vocalista, igual de talentosa pero mal aprovechada como Emmanuelle Zoldan. Y así todo se vino abajo. Al menos hasta el álbum de 2021 es que la dejaron sacar lo mejor de su voz. Dicho otra vez, Sirenia no se pone a la altura de esos discos con Ailyn o de su gran debut como fue el At Sixes and Sevens. Morten hace agonizar a su propia banda por gusto 🤦‍♂🤷‍♂

@@mimichan3169 no me aferro a Ailyn pero es que ni siquiera Morten pudo mantener el nivel de la banda después de su partida. El Riddles Ruins and Revelations es un disco bueno aunque otra vez Morten le dió mala producción a un trabajo bien hecho. Emma está genial en su voz y tiene mejores melodías que los anteriores. Te lo recomiendo personalmente, aunque no sé que más esperar de la banda.
