This video is just MY opinion. It took me approximately 400 hours to produce it, and though it's not perfect, I think it's rather entertaining. I hope all of you will enjoy watching it. I think Sissel is humble and doesn't think she is the G.O.A.T. (or, like some of you, may not agree with the use of the term) but for me, "SHE IS THE GREATEST SINGER OF ALL TIME." I'm sure she knows what an HONOR it is to have been chosen to receive these gifts from God. You go Girl... and to God be the Glory!

For me it was a lesson to understand much better why I love the voice of Sissel for me the best of Europe and who knows all over the world. I absolutely agree with you! Sissel is such a fantastic Soprano ! In addition she is such a wonderful person with a loving and caring personality. She has inspired and raised up so many people worldwide with her songs and their philosophical lyrics. She has the remarkable ability to touch human hearts and bring inner peace to those who listen to her. In her lifetime she has accomplished so much ! I think Sissel should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize!
I guess this is something positive that came from me getting cancer. I was bed ridden for most of last year and out of boredom I started watching RU-vid videos and that's how I stumbled on to Sissel.
Thank you for the "labor of love" that produced this video !! I too only discovered Sissel about 1 year ago, and have also devoted much of my labor and a part of my WEB site to sharing her splendor with others !! I have cataloged over 300 of her videos, and watched them ALL many times. I would go further than to proclaim her ONLY a "GOAT". In my mind, she is God's protype of what His "human creation" SHOULD be, and how He longs to LAVISH His gifts upon those who can be trusted to use them to His Praise and Glory !! A comment someone left on RU-vid says it VERY well. This person stated that, "they had heard many of Sissel's CD/DVD's, but there was NO comparison to finally seeing and hearing her live on stage." They said that, "they knew that here wasn't just another "singer/ performer/ entertainer" - but that they were honored to be in the presence of TRUE Greatness (a Great Soul)." It would have been "joy unspeakable" for me to have attended one of her early concerts !! It was said of the ancient goddesses that - should a human behold their radiance and beauty - he/she would be consumed by their splendor. I think that Sissel comes as close to this as human capacity will allow !! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
She has it all, i have had the great privalage of meeting and talking to her, spshe was just as i expected, so nice and down to earth. Spoke for about 12 min and she showed no urgency to be on her way . A wounderful person.
I discovered her for the first time several years ago and knew immediately that she is the best of all times. She has that ability to make you feel like she is singing just to you
What a beautiful compilation and you definitely have a strong case that Sissel is the G.O.A.T.! I think the more I listen to her I’m becoming convinced of it! Especially when you take into account she doesn’t sing a song unless it means something to her. She has many impactful messages in her songs and her voice is like no other! Great video, I agree with Kirk’s comment!!
I know there are many talented singers (all of whom got their singing gifts from God), but it seems that Sissel got a little more than anyone else. Her charisma and ability to "work" the camera cannot be over stated. And you're correct about her "messaging" and her song selection. She was never in it for the fame or fortune, but for the love and joy of singing.

With my cancer, I don't know how much longer I will be down here, so I wanted to leave something very special that would bless others after I'm gone. My love for the Lord and for how she has used her gifts is what motivated me.
I agree with you. She is truly in a league of her own. I do think she is greater in the classical than with other genres. I do love Slow Down, and Like An Angel.
I agree, her voice is perfect for classical compositions. The other genres don't require a wider range which is what lets her talent really shine through.

I enjoyed making it, but there were times I thought I'd never get it done... after almost 400 hours, though it's not perfect, I'm fairly pleased with it. If Sissel sees it, I hope she likes it too.
she IS the best singer in my lifetime, no doubt about it. I do not believe she writes music nor does she play any instruments but she is in a class by herself when it comes to her singing and awesome presentation. And on top of this she's incredibly empathetic & humble as well.
She played the euphonium on Feliz Navidad during her Norwegian TV concert in 2019 and she does write music and lyrics. She wrote the lyrics to The Old Castle many years ago and actively writes music/lyrics with her husband Ernst. One of my favorites is Home. Since discovering Sissel, I agree she is phenomenal in all genres! The only women I've found that approach her virtuosity are in the group Celtic Woman. Mezzo sopranos Maev and Lynn Hilary in particular.
I plan on doing a video on Celtic Woman. I'm really impressed with the violinist (I used to play violin and I know how hard it is to play standing still much less "jumping" about.)
Thank you so much for the compliment. Most people don't realize how much work it takes to produce a video like this. Hours of research, video capturing, color correction, editing clips, writing/recording the voice over... then rewriting and re-recording the voice over... the list goes on... so it really was a labor of love.
