*Black Women do that towards black men too. Lol. I was at an establishment and a black woman friend couple was there. Them and I were the only blacks in this bar/club and I talked to them, but they only addressed me with their backs turned with one word answers. So, after a few minutes of failed attempts to socialize with them in a more direct way, I went on about my merry way, and continued dancing and socializing with the "Much friendlier" White people, aka "Them Folks"* 🤷🏽♂️😁
To Phillip Scott: The reason why white people want to know how she got into their neighbourhood, and how she managed to get her income to live a fancy lifestyle, is to be aware of the procedures that she followed to get there and then put some obstacles in those procedures. So the next black person or group of black people who will try to use the same procedure to become successful will encounter obstacles that will make them fail.

I don't get questioned I get followed around, space invaded and cut off when I'm walking. More passive aggressive. If I don't like someone I try to avoid them like the plague. Not get close to them or force interactions with them but thats just me
At the current job where I work, the WS always ask what is the problem when they see some of us going over a game plan for our shift and how we’re going to execute the night. When they see their people in huddles just chilling and standing around, they literally say nothing but they’ll tell our supervisor to make sure everyone is working. I know someone out here now who has the EEOC ready to pay them a visit soon.
Going thru this now on my job harasses me stalks being combative over bearing with Controlling and Aggressiveness reported several times nothing has been done I have filed 12 Grievances on him this year alone…EEOC HEREI COME
I understand your feelings 100%. I have been in Florida for 23 years and am STILL in culture shock of how these people act. I am currently trapped in ultra-gentrifying downtown Saint Petersburg. The microaggressions usually begin about 45 seconds after I go outside. People randomly shout insults and slurs when it suits them. I visited the Dali Museum a few years ago and the guard thought it was his duty to watch me ONLY. He followed me around wherever I went. The more identical people they cram in down here, the worse it gets. :(

I’ve been living in Ethiopia for almost 2 years and it kills me that they come over there looking to mix with our women. A lot of them want a black woman so bad and it discusses me when I see them with one of our sisters.

I look at them with a slick smile and just stare at them without speaking. That seems to rattle them a bit. I smile and then give them a look that says "I know EXACTLY what you are". I just keep on smiling. I have no words.
I live in Georgia, never know anything about Lake Linear. I was with friends late night on a boat. I just jumped in the water, no life jacket just swimming care free. Until the people on the boat was yelling at me like crazy . I had no idea but the spirit of my people did not pull me under so I was spared, and I thank Yahweh for that. Also, I thank my people that made sure I was safe a In the Water, because I know other races they die but my people said no, not this one. This is one of ours.

Same experience here they pay way too much attention to me, as soon as they see me they can't do their job. I was followed because I refused to answer when I was asked where I was going.
They always seemed visually shocked when they see that you are intelligent, educated and classy. And not the usual stereotypes that they expect. It cracks me up. When they decide to make their discomfort yours, you can face them or isolate yourself from them but never back down from them. Dominion in this world is not reserved for them. Every human breathes, eats, drinks and defecates. No exceptions. As a people, we may be at a disadvantage, for now, but we're not inferior. Additionally, even if you're at a disadvantage your blackness doesn't make you inferior.
