I just made my children who are 10 and 8 watch the movie ive seen it a billion times lol and they loved the fashion and the music but they made me rewind this part so much laughing at whoopi response 🤣🤣🤣 this is a childhood movie for me so I loved my kids enjoyed it
I swear to God Lauren Hill stole my heart in this. She was just the coolest thing on the planet for me when I first seen this as a kid, so much so I remember wishing I was a black girl. No one has ever come close to my love for this girl not in a gay way because I'm not but I remember falling so hard for her. It's just so wild how beautiful she was in this. Yeah when hip hop was more of a culture, and lunch room ciphers and corner ciphers were mad common. I can’t say for young folks now days because I don’t know, but growin up in the 90s, hip hop was simply everywhere in the city. It was also mad grass roots. Graffiti, freestyle rapping, bboying etc. I don’t think this so how it is viewed anymore.
