I loved how Lisa cared for both of the girls equally unlike Rae. Like you can tell Lisa didn’t show favoritism. She always referred to the girls as “my girls” and Rae referred to them as “my daughter and her sister tia” I loved her so much and even when she didn’t have enough money she always showed them that she is there for them. Even aside from her mother role she was still my favorite character.
@ Jaziah I love Lisa! She’s one of the BEST Tv moms and she’s funny. But I disagree with Rey showing favoritism. Remember when Rey took Tia to the father/daughter dance because he’s the closest thing she’s ever had to a father figure. This is when they find out they have a lot in common being book smart and what not, which lead to Tamara being jealous.

Jackee is legendary and steals the show from 227 to this show. There's talk about a reboot of this show. If they don't bring Jackee back then I don't think I would watch.
Lisa wasn’t Tamera’s mother but she always cared for her the same way she cared for tia and was a great mother figure to her, their was an episode where she risked her life for Tamera and it was great. She was crazy and funny but she always cared for the girls.
I have seen almost every episode. I am on season six episode three. I love this show. Too bad I was not alive when it was actually airing. I was born the actual year that it quit airing.
@@zakiyaallouche6241 Yes, I find that the older shows (not saying that this show is old old) Are a lot more better, there’s a lot less foul language, and more family oriented type of stuff. That’s why I love this show. And the comedy obviously don’t get me started. Lisa reminds me of my real mom.
I've been watching the series again and Lisa is the BEST. I've always admired how selfless, kind, and hard-working she is, but LOVED how hilarious, brazen, petty, confident, and openly sexual she is. She's the well-rounded and complex female character we all need.
Lisa was the reason this show lasted as long as it did. I mean, don't get me wrong the twins were great, and Tamera comes to a close second, and Tia and Ray also contributed too, but I don't know how far the twins would have gotten without Lisa Landry

💕I LOVE JACKEE'!💕 She's ALWAYS made me laugh! Hysterically! I'll NEVER understand why she hasn't had a JACKEE' sitcom of HER OWN! I love(d) the show "Sister Sister," but SHE MADE that show! Tho inexplicably omitted from THIS video, when she sang "I Got The Joy Joy Joy Joy Down In My Heart" (while under the influence of a dentist's laughing gas)... OMG!!! I'm STILL laughing! I wish Ray and Lisa would have gotten married, but I guess they want it to make less of a fairy tale ending and show 2 ppl don’t always get together in the end.
I agree, she got cold feet in both her weddings. I thought that was a sign she was meant to be with Ray, especially after the episode his wife who passed away approved of them together.
