knowing what I wanted I went by myself and had a relaxed and also short shopping-proceedure.Pulled only 2 off the rag and 1 of them fit perfectly. No stress, no regret.

The sister is very pretty and she knows it. The problem is because she thinks she is prettier than her sis and works in the fashion industry that she can put down her sis.

@@jennifermurdock945 It seems like she's said harsher things in the past too, the bride very clearly stated she thought her sister would be concerned about her 'shape' or whatever in the dress, it just came across as someone who's constantly making backhanded or small comments about weight that slowly tear you down.

Speak for yourself. You don't know this woman. You don't know if the bride has said she wants a slimming dress. You don't know if she has been dieting or not. You are as shameful as you claim the slimming comment was. As someone who has lost weight in the past, it was just as disempowering when no one noticed or commented.

I agree with you, I think the first dress was beautiful and elegant. It would go very well in their venue. That sales associate said that it wasn't her size, but she looked lovely. Imagine what she would look in the correct size, absolutely gorgeous. She's a beautiful young lady, and I am sure it's hard of her self esteem to have a seemingly non caring Mother, that's sides w/her smaller, conceited, obnoxious younger daughter that continously throws around the fact that she has a fashion degree, which she constantly throws it around. A fashion degree doesn't equal: taste, tact and kindness. She's the Bride follow your heart, and what makes you happy, and fits your dream; you will know it, better than anyone else. But most of all, ditch your entourage, come back with people who actually care about you, want what's best for you, and that definitely doesn't have to be family!!
