Yeah totally agree. If she’s that keen to do that to her sister and comfortable with manipulating her to meet her own needs (and the morality and ethics of that) then that’s definitely coming into the room in therapy, consciously or subconsciously. I’m a clin psyc and genuinely find that so concerning.

I agree with some of the other comments about the sister. It's dangerous that we have people like that offering "professional help". She seems like the type who will side with whoever pays her better, or even try to gaslight the client. MASSIVELY manipulative! Good for the bride for standing up for herSelf!

I was my older sister's maid of honor in her wedding 17 years ago. My sister picked all of the dresses for myself and the rest of the bridal party. We all loved our dresses. My sister and my brother in law paid for their wedding. The groomsmen and bridal party paid for their own tuxedos and dresses.
