great video! your hair has progressed so nicely. In a way, you look in some photos very familiar to me, so I could actually see the possibility of having the locs. I have been dreaming of doing it for about 2 years now, but where I live, there is not much to cater for afro hair or locs. I have started locs for my friends but want someone todo it for me!

Thank you!!! You should get them!! It sucks that you live where locs are not catered to but I’m sure if you look outside your city you should be able to find someone within a reasonable driving distance.

But I was wondering, currently I have short Afro hair ( a TWA) maybe isn’t better I let them grow and then do it (maybe when I travel to Uk or Ghana), because I also have dry hair, and I don’t know if this will influence the look ( I’m already mentally prepared that I will have to go through let me say a “ugly fase” )

Ok love, first things first. There’s no such thing as an ugly phase. Your locs will be short not ugly!! If you tell yourself that your locs will be ugly, that’s what you will see when you look in the mirror. As for your hair being dry now, I would suggest taken sometime and really tend to your hair by doing moisture treatments and making sure your hair is healthy. This will help your locs in the long run because you will start them on a healthy and strong foundation.

I'm getting sisterlocks installed this weekend. You and I have the same hair type and I'm getting around to same size as yours. How long did your install take? She booked me for 2 days but im praying it's quicker than that lol. I loveeeee your hair by the way, you got me all excited! Also how long does your reties take?

Thank you and welcome to the family!!!! My install took a total of 18 hours over the course of 3 days! The amount of time it takes depend on how long and dense your hair is.
