proud to say I've had my locs in for 5 weeks today going for retightening today. A few of them have unraveled at the root and some of them are are totally loc'd already and some of them are taking their sweet time especially in the front. Excited about seeing length started at 3-4inches.

Congratulations on your loc journey Kim! You know I swear my back row and the loc above both of my ears came mostly unraveled for the first several months, so don't feel bad. I've heard some people say that the shorter your hair is when you get locs, the faster your locs will mature. I am sure your locs will go through quite a transformation during the first year and that should be really exciting.
