ABOUT ME + SLEEPY SANTOSHA
Hi! My name is Rachel. I am the creator of Sleepy Santosha. I am a certified yoga instructor who specializes in yoga for chronic illness. Although I hold two teaching certifications, the classes I teach are largely inspired by my own firsthand experiences with chronic illness and my personal yoga practice.
Because I know what it is like to live with chronic illness, I am able to create yoga classes that intuitively support the needs of someone who is experiencing chronic pain, fatigue, brain fog, etc. and many of my classes can be practiced in bed. Another soothing breath - instantly activated my parasympathetic system. Thank you Rachel for this wonderful challenge. Lots of inspiration for me to take into the autumn to keep my breathwork fresh.

So many times through my day, especially with wearing masks, I have to remind myself to take deep breaths. Thank you for this video that encourages us to set aside a daily practice less than 5 minutes to just breathe!

I use this a lot. It’s also really good when you’re feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes I even do it a bit when I’m walking when I’m in public because I’m an empath and take on other peoples energy sometimes, even when I’m really well shielded. Thanks Rach.
