Holy crap the choreography is good! They're actually aiming at the people carrying the lightsabers; not just swinging to hit each other's weapons! Might have to actually watch this one then!
Criticism of the Acolyte was premature, l gave it a chance, have watched every episode, the wokeness is very overstated, maybe a little inference in episode 3 but if you compare this to Star Trek Discovery , Discovery if far far far more woke. Acolyte is really good, l sensed it was going to build up into something and boom episode 5. Be interesting to see where it goes now.
This show is like 5/10, but if they had made it a movie it would be 9/10. The pacing is just too slow. This would have been a great start to the climax of a movie.
@@genkigirl4859 Yeah of course you are. And no one knows the color of panties Princess Leia has, unless it's the color of slave outfit which is literally exposed. And thank you for admitting that you're not a fan, just a shill lol.

"You have a Jedi Weapon, but you are no Jedi." Yeah no S@#$ sherlock. You'd think they'd have taught Jedi about the Sith or at the very least they'd know that Sith carry Red Lightsabers. Oi vey I swear.
@@novaowera9995 WTF are you telling ? I dont care if they use legends lore (it doesnt make a good serie just by using that) , I need to repeat myself ,he SPARED her in the last ep (of course for using her as an acolyte im not dumb) But then explain to me why he throw his light saber to her in the ep 5 ? If Sol hadn't stopped the blow, she would have been cut in two. ZERO logic.
@@grand_admiral_henrich4416 Like Drinker said "it's a pretty useful thing that could totally change the nature of lightsaber duels in all future Star Wars installments and it's not like the writers would consider the implications of world altering tech like this" Even if it is rare.
One question: If the Jedi are unaware of the Sith, how can they be enemies. The fact that Sith usually are in hiding somewhat explains this, but since these opposing views are not on public display, there can't be conflict, thus be enemies.
The jedi and sith used to wage war against eachother thousands of years before this show. Back then, the sith also numbered in the thousands. They pretty much destroyed themselves from the inside out and that is why the sith took on the rule of two. Meaning that there can only be 2 sith, master and apprentice. They hid away in the shadows until the time was right to take over the galaxy once again. Like we see in episode 1,2 and 3 with palpatine. The jedi are not unaware of the sith, they just thought that they were extinct.
Official canon would usually keep timeline enjoyable but also clean and simple, the rodent star war is kind of, say in case of Dragon Ball, they made a son between Goku and Bulma, yeah, theoretically you can justify this “son” anyway, but the show itself would be pure chaos.
@@lightmagik2156 Kylo wasn't a Sith, Palpaltine never trained him to be one. Hence why he never got the Sith eyes, which by the way, this guy also doesn't have Sith eyes.
While you're not wrong about the Witches, I think Star Wars should be allowed to grow up a little. It doesn't need to be Andor all the time, but it should definitely try to up its game in some areas.
@@TTHEREVI think the main issue most level-headed fans of Star Wars have is how The Acolyte’s plot seems to be trashing on the lore. Of course the show hasn’t ended yet so we may see more explanation, but it’s been a bit lazy so far. The fight choreography was great though!
