It too have to give this one to first lite. This specter camo pattern is really performing well. Just like the other poster said late season with snow back drops would be interesting! Especially for us north eastern hunters. Keep up the good work awsome job
You have the best camo comparisons on here! I wear Sitka but I think FL won this one. I thought it got a little more even with tree stand background but it was close. Both are great patterns
Very kind of you. Please share it if you have other hunter friends that may be interested in them. I am working on more ideas that I hope to have available soon.
I have both camos now going 2 season with specter and EV2 for the longest. Ev2 shines when you are high at least 20 plus feet up where the skies and surrounding help break that pattern out. Even better when all the leaves are gone. Cloudy skies and snow also helps break out this pattern. Which is why alot of guys like this for the Midwest for late season. Now I would say specter is versatile pattern and can be broken on all elevation levels. It just blends in that good. From ground game to 20 plus. Something the ev2 cannot do. You stand out like a swore thumb. That's why they have subalpine. All in all Ev2 for late season and Specter for mid till late. So right now I've got the Fanatic for late season and Solitude for mid season rut months. Also want to add that the print textile on the Firstlite is more solid and cleaner than fleece. Like your see on the Fanatic where it is berber as Solitude is catalyst shell much cleaner pattern. Could say the same on there new design of the Ambiant, Incinerator or jetstream. Older stuff like Stratus and Fanatic the printing textile is not the best due to fleece. Each company has different variants of printing depending on the material if that matters to the buyer.
Agree.. i just reran Elevated II, Open Country and SubAlpine in a new video with snow and some tree stand type views. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SPUtEJqMw6Y.html I try to put them in as many environment so if you could only buy one, you can compare how it will work in many places.
I know people do it, but I don’t know a single person that hunts from the ground and every picture except for 1 is what a deer might see if they saw someone hunting from the ground.. this is apples to oranges at best lol
I have added more treestand views to my newer camo showdowns. Would you like to have this comparison rerun with my new format? I have 90 in this one with a single treestand view ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ivOUD_XSvtM.html This is the new showdown format: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kJoSv0i3rGs.html
Elevated ii all the way. It is meant for hunting whitetails from an elevated position. Most real hunters are bow hunting. So unless you are in a ground box blind that doesn't matter what you are wearing, why would any deer hunter want to wear the First Lite over Sitka? Seems like a no brainer to me. Unless you are solely a boring gun hunter that hunts from the ground only, I guess First Lite might be better.
It is a very bright pattern that is meant just for that type of hunting. Of course, the approach angle has to be right or else it is just a blob when backlit.
