When you talked about Boone's gum, you should have had something about Nestor and the gum bucket. Every single walkoff, he is the one that grabs and guards the gum bucket to toss over the guy at home plate. Some of my favorite videos all year have been him sprinting or jogging with the bucket guarded off until he reaches the pile. He's just so fun an funny. Easily one of my favorite Yankees and baseball players. Can't wait for him to get some signature October moments to further cement his legacy in pinstripes. Love that we have him for at least 3 more years. He's an icon and I love it!
Nestor is just that _likeable_ , guy! Team-allegiance, aside....how could you _NOT_ root for a guy like Nestor....? Underdog, (essentially) cast-off/recycled, down-to-earth, laid back, humble; yeah,.... *Nestor Cortes* is a good dude.
