You obviously were not around to see Hank Aaron. He was a 25 time all star. Unlike Albert ( 11 time all star) Hank was consistent. Everyone seems to forget the 10 mediocre years he had with Angels. But as an Angels fan, it was not all Albert’s fault. Just not the best atmosphere for a player to be in.
@@kendraadman7229 no I wasn’t around to see Hank Aaron play, he retired in 1976, I wasn’t even born til 2001, there’s no taking anything away from hank Aaron. But pujols is the best imo
@@Bmcclain620 I get it. Hank was the best player I had ever seen. I was born after other greats such as Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams. I’m sure fans who are now in there 90s might disagree with me as to who the best hitters were. Also, if Albert stayed with Cards he probably would have caught Aaron for a few of his records.
Albert is so freaking Humble, he just talks about contributing to the Team. That's Awesome, he talks about the work, and the journey. He is just a flat out inspiration, not just to me, or anyone in Missouri, but to Millions. Albert, we will miss you.
"gift"? As a Angel fan his "gift" to us was hitting into hundreds of DP's, refusing to sit out even a day despite a .225 BA. He could not run Also, he refused to learn English and LIED about his age......Thanks Pujols!
I feel that if Pujols never left St.Louis he would have overtaken Ruth and came very very close to HankAaron if not edging Aaron by a few homers. Either way first ballot hall of famer and absolute legend.
Be sure to include his 9 years of robbery from the Angels. Also, his refusal to learn English and his dishonesty about his age! Nice little things people overlook when they are so busy fawning over him
