Over the 24th - 5th September 2016, the Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway held their annual End of Season Gala.
A busy intensive timetable service with four locomotive(three steam & one diesel) in action hauling two passenger set as well a demonstration Bowater freight train.
The line-up was as follows...
Kerr-Stuart 'Brazil' class 0-4-2ST No.926 "Leader" & No.4219 "Melior"
W.G. Bagnall 'Baretto' class 0-6-2T No.2624 "Superb"
Hunslet 4w DH No.6651 "Barton Hall"

great video. i do enjoy sittingbourne it still has a very industrial feel and look to it. great to see three steamers operating.

Doesn't this railway believe in cutting their weeds looks like everything is getting to be to over grown!!!!

Jody Smith, 100% agree with you, been to other railways over the years and they keep maintain on the rails. Think this railway should do the same, time to have a trim, refill maybe of stones inbetween tracks and restoration in some places. Apart from that, all good. Needs a tidy up and refurbishment. 😀👍
