Just ordered this set from Audio 46, they had an open box for $350. I'm coming from a beat up Fidelio L2, which I love and think is underrated. Can't wait to see how these compare.
@@davids2214 The Sivga does sound better to me. It's a clearer sounding headphone. I'm not sure exactly how to word it, maybe more analytical. It's also way more comfortable. I can listen for longer periods and my ears don't heat up. I'd also say the cable Sivga includes is top notch.
Overall great, but too bright, not enought impact on bass and maybe too small space. Amazing holo sound, separation and clarity. Needs warmer dac/amp imo. I had X1S and SP200.
finally got mine broke in, to me it right at max on bright sym . Great instrumental separation texture and 3d positioning. sound stage normal like Rroxy size. Only o,k on all base aspects. I use only on a high power balanced tube amp. got for 380.00 and well worth it to me.
I'd say the Clears would definitely have more detail and be a more neutral sound. Whether you'd find that more enjoyable, it's hard to say. Both are great in their own ways.
Looks like they stole the earcup mesh design from the Klipsch HP-3's. Among other design elements as well. Sivga picking up the same OEM parts that are no longer being used by Klipsch since they discontinued their HP-3s. Similar to KLH, and the KLH Ultimate One as well.
That’s a tough call. They are quite different in presentation. The Sivga is more detailed and forward-more exciting. The Argons are thick and wide, a bit more pulled back. If I had to choose one or the other, I’d probably take the Sivga, as long as I had a decent tube amp.
I would take the Sivga if you’ve got the extra cash. That being said, I’d probably just keep an eye on the used market and maybe you can grab a set for under $300.
I would take them over 660 and Sundara. I listened to all of them. 023 are overall great, but too bright, not enought impact on bass and maybe too small space. Amazing holo sound, separation and clarity. I'm curious now about P-II - they had more bass from what I read. Also Oriole (022?) can be interesting. And ofc Peacock, but these are a little bit price'y.
@@blackjohnny0 Yeah, the new Oriole looks interesting. I also have to admit that I'd love to try the Peacock out. Never saw much about the PII, but perhaps I should take another look.
I didn't like it. Lack of sound stage. I would say it's intimate. Lacks punch in bass. Non-existent sub bass. Average detail in that range. No wow effect and fair comfort.
@@MrAyrit "Only Space" is probably a troll, or a bot. Left the very same comment under every Sivga's review on the RU-vid. I've just bought them. I am not an audiophile expert, but comparing it to my Sennheiser 560s it's like heaven and hell. They are better in every aspect.
