It always amazes me to see death metal vocalists keep up the intensity for a full set. Such a misunderstood talent.

Chris Barns knows how to get the crowd going, he is a hell of a vocalist, I cannot believe the sounds he is making.

I keep coming back to this. After all these years, it's still one of my favourite live performances but also a bloody good crowd to feed off. Barnes and Frank Mullen are probably the best two vocalists of the genre. I was gutted when he left CC...but shouldn't have been so concerned!!!

This is one of the best live performances of "Silent Violence" that can be found. One of the most amazing things about it to me, in addition to his uncharacteristically excellent high screams, is how he is actually singing a note underneath his growl in the low growling. Never heard him do that before, don't think I've ever heard any death metal vocalist do that. Amazing.

Havent watched this in years, Barnes sounds fucking brutal here! One of his best live performances ever, he was out to kill that day. He's always been a huge influence of mine in death metal. i remember showing this to friends who had written him off at this time. They were speechless. haha

i've watched many death metal bands live performance, this is the most on point show ever everything is near perfection, the sound (shoutout to the sound engineer guy), the musicians being at their best, the stage setup, the fans enjoying the show to the max Chris Barnes will always be one of the greatest DM vocalists ever

I didn’t know Chris Barnes could speak German until I saw this concert in it’s entirety. German’s one of like 20 something languages I’m studying but I’m still only fluent in English right now. I’m gonna get a lifetime subscription to Rosetta Stone for Christmas which will give me access to all 25 of their current languages as well as any other languages they add in the future.

one of the best death metal bands of all time. Chris's voice is perfect for this type of music. Hes possessed in this concert haha. AMAZING. other great death metal bands....Dying fetus obviously, old school Sepultura although not death metal...bloodbath (when mikael was with them).....not sure if iv seen any live performances by any bands that is this good tho....the sound quality, mixing, energy, voice, even the crowd here...this is a great example of the metal/death metal scene at its best! nice effing job SFU and chris barnes!!
