This was at Six Flags AstroWorld In Houston Texas. . The name of the show was Marvel Mc Fey And his Enchanted Animals. This show proceeded Bugs Bunny in the AstroWorld during the years 1972 to 1984. . I hope that someone will have a video of the complete show to share. Since this was a show before camcorders were commonplace I do not have a video of the show. I wish there was a Video of the this show available but all I have are pictures Please enjoy the Music and pictures, it took me little longer to get this together than I anticipated. Thank you for posting this marvelous tribute! It's such a treat to hear the song especially. I visited AstroWorld in 1978 and enjoyed the show very much. I got a little Marvel McFey figural keychain as my souvenir and still have it with me today!

I used to put on the suit to take pictures with the kids after the dancer's show finished. It was the summer of 1980. Boy, that suit was hot. Me and Eric took turns wearing it.

Hi, David - I'm working on an Astroworld retrospective museum exhibit, and I'm focused on those who played Marvel McFey over the years, what years they served, and possibly the final resting place of the Marvel McFey costume(s). I'd like to include your experience, if I can. Who is "Eric" that you refer to?

Veronica - I’m sure that would make a great addition! The AstroWorld display will show for the first time in Fall 2020 at the Brimstone Museum in Sulphur, LA. In 2021, the City of PEARLAND hopes to have its railroad depot museum operational, and the display will show there soon afterwards. OMG This takes me back to 74 when my parents took me there one summer and then every year. I thought Astro World was the end all be all of all time. Coool this brings back a lot of happy memories ;)

I remember dancing in the Bluebonnet Bowl with many others; and walking around in an animal costume (gee, it was sweltering in those costumes!).

I gave my cousin one of those key chain and he said man where did you fine this. I told him a thrift store. And we laugh😃 and it took us back💥 to our teens years when we where drop off in the morning and pick at the drop gate at 12am🕛 those where the good old days p.s. no police🚔where called to ask where are your parent it just fun!
