Six Flags Fiesta Texas heads into their second decade of operation in the 2000s with the addition of the record-breaking Superman Krypton Coaster. Other large additions to Fiesta Texas during this decade include multiple water slide attractions, Tony Hawk's Big Spin and Goliath. Live entertainment was a staple of the park during the 2000s as they'd produce over a dozen shows each season and take home Amusement Today's Golden Ticket Award for "Best Theme Park Shows" on numerous occasions.

Thanks for the giant hit of nostalgia. It’s the most potent of all drugs! These decade in review videos really give me the feels. Also... congrats on passing 3k subs. Super cool to have seen this channel grow so much. Pretty sure I showed up around 250-300 subs and it’s just kept growing!

This vid brought back some memories of growing up in SA. I definitely wish the park would embrace its theming more as that’s what I remember the most. It seems like it’s heading in that direction under the current management and it doesn’t seem like it’d be too expensive to make it happen. The thing that always bothers me walking around the park today is the music in some sections, especially los festivales and crackaxel. The music should reflect the area theming and modern pop songs in los festivales doesn’t work and modern country music doesn’t work with the theming in crackaxel. The music loop in spassburg definitely shows that they know the importance of music, I just with the whole Park would reflect this.

Okay I’m having a bit of a moment. I swear that when Tony Hawks big spin first opened at fiesta Texas there was an indoor queue with videos about skateboarding and stuff inside. Now with pandemonium the indoor spot is a haunted house and I can find no videos of this indoor queue I remember vividly. Does anyone else remember this queue or did my childhood just exist in a different universe?

It did use a portion of the building for a queue when first opened. It wasn’t anything particularly magnificent, though. Primarily chain link-type barriers with skateboard signs on them. Then you’d be dumped back out into the outdoor station.
