Fun fact: In this plane you can reach an altitude of 25+ kilometers and stay there for, like, forever. At a speed of almost Mach 1. Please don't do this in battles.

Not true. I was playing Me 163 yesterday. I just aimed up and went AFK for a while. When I Alt-Tabed back to game I found myself in altitude of 15.5 km (stats card however says it can reach only 15 km), so I leveled the plane and guess what? The plane went supersonic in a leveled flight and it kept accelerating. But when I was flying around 460 km/h IAS the wing broke off because it exceeded Mach 1.05 limit.

Sorry for necro but yeah, easely possible. At lower thrust you get insanely more economical fuel consumption. I usally climb to like 5k and then turn it to 30-40%. At that thrust you still slowly gain speed and can just hover in the air for ages, I think at 30% it takes like 8 seconds for 1 sec of fuel duration
