Like your review. Good stuff. Thanks. Ive had the Cape for a few years and really like it. One thing I've found to take care of that floppy section you mention is to adjust tension on the front guy line. Moving the stake out a bit might be required to get it right but when I get it right, I don't have the floppy problem even when I have it set up lower to the ground. And Robert is right about trying different pole lengths. I find it can brought down, almost touching the ground, or set up high for good air flow. I don't use the Serenity Net but I made a bathtub floor for it that I love. Keep Livin'Large, bud!
Thanks. I think if I improving my stakes and pole would go a long way. The pole was frozen and would not adjust, and the type of stakes I had were difficult, given the frozen ground especially. Thanks again.
Saw your review of the Gatewood Cape. I have one but it has been a long time since I used it. I wonder if the reason your sides are so far off the ground is you have your tracking pole too long? The side also seemed loose which could be because the stakes were not properly adjusted. Just a thought. I like the Serenity net because it has a bathtub floor that keeps you off the ground and helps keep the water out. Good review.
