I think I could have stopped it if I negated with Baronne (I felt an another delay so negated with Apollousa instead), but it was definitely surprising!
I've just seen the forbidden list of yu gi oh masterduel meta. I'm going to prepare this deck but Isolde will later be forbidden then. So sad for me to build this deck:((
Gateway was banned for a long time. It's only recently been released back to us. I think it was sometime last year that it went from banned to limited.
Emma, you might not know it, but you got balls as big as Ra's Sphere mode, I'd never try on playing this deck with no handtraps and counters to maxx c other than called by the grave
Hey got into master duel for the first time and decided to build this deck as my first! Really satisfying to connect the dots from the initial starting hand, though I feel bad for whoever goes second against me haha. I noticed you don’t use Mizuho and Shinai anymore. Any reason for not including it? Also I noticed that it’s susceptible to hand traps. Any suggestions for swap outs/ additions to lower the handtrap/negate susceptibility? Wouldn’t mind a lower chance at a good starting hand if it meant I could save more games from getting negated when trying to set up
1) Definitely. Going 1st with Six Samurai is a huge advantage! 2) I don't use Red/Blue because my deck lists don't really utilise XYZ's that would benefit from their addition (MX Saber Invoker can be summoned by other means). I also generally don't find them overly useful in the current meta 3) You could add Maxx C, Ash Blossom, Evenly Matched, or Infinite Impermanence for hand traps. All of them are good (especially Maxx C)
Thanks so much for your reply! I’ll try that out. In your experience does the bamboo engine significantly improve winning odds vs replacing it with hand traps? I’ll try it out just to see but would love to hear your thoughts on it
