Sixth grade teacher weeps opening unexpected gift from Secret Santa

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local Secret Santa give $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season. Every day, from now until Christmas, we will post videos of the recipients being surprised with these life-changing gifts.
Jen is a sixth grade teacher and shares custody of her three kids with her ex-husband.
In September, her oldest child Brylee was admitted into EIRMC for pneumonia. Over the next few days, her symptoms became worse and her kidneys started to have issues. She was flown to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake where doctors determined she had a form of Vasculitis called GPA.
Jen had to take a leave of absence from her teaching job and stay with Brylee in Utah. Brylee has been in and out of the hospital and had a few procedures and surgeries. It's a long road to recovery and Jen is working to figure out what's next after taking a leave of absence from her job.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves if we could pay Jen a visit to drop off some early Christmas gifts. She was tough to catch but once we did, it was a pleasure meeting her. Check out the surprise in the video player above!

You can see how much the older boy is so pleased and caring for his mother. I do not think the younger brother is neglected at all, just that the older boy understands the magnitude of the gift.

Wow, her oldest son impressed me when he so genuinely thanked the woman who gave him a ride home and further impressed me by keeping a secret, making sure mom looked good on camera, and then gazing at her lovingly as he gently offered her support and kind affirming words, what a gem of a human being, way to go Jen, you are raising him right!! I'm crying a river of happy tears for this family. Thank goodness some of the financial load is lifted, so the focus is on healing a sick child. Secret Santa, just WOW!! To use your good fortune to help those in need is beyond tremendous! The heart and thought put into every special recipient's gifts is a credit to you. Every year I watch these videos, from afar. Well done mom. You have obviously included your eldest boy in the problems you are having. He ver obviously realises the magnitude of this gift and the weight it relieves from your collective shoulders. So important to include children in your decisions - prepares them for their own adult lives and allows them to set realistic expectations in your current situation.
