Hey Bob. You are so correct. A talent for the ages. What's incredible about it, is it is true natural talent. No layers of auto tune and every other kind of electronic adjustment that makes most of today's singers sound completely fabricated and cardboard cutouts of each other. You listen to Courtney singing on her live chats, over her phone, when she's not just having some casual fun singing with her listeners, and what she can do even in that environment is phenomenal. It's all her putting out this incredible sound. As you said, you can see that Courtney feels every note she sings. The emotion just pours from her when she is performing, and it is that authenticity that allows Courtney to connect with her audience emotionally like few can. Add the fact that Courtney was only 14 at the time of this performance, and her jaw dropping talent is just exponentially more amazing. So, you said you had some of Courtney's covers coming up. I'm guessing those are the three remaining songs from her 'Cover Sessions' EP that you haven't reacted to yet. Those are all sensational, and involve a wide variety of musical styles. I'm going to give you one more song to add to your list. It's a cover, and I'll give you a heads up that it is Courtney actually playing her studio recording over a live chat, rather than her singing it, but what she does is just mind boggling. Many consider it one of Courtney's most spectacular performances. She takes this song to places most artists can only dream of reaching. When we first heard this song, there was just stunned silence followed by a flood of requests to hear this masterpiece again. It is called 'Love Hurts'. 14 years old in mid-January 2019 on 2nd live show of AGT: The Champions, iirc. The previous month she'd signed with both Simon Cowell's Syco Music label (UK) and Arista (Sony, USA). She was scheduled for Saturday of the 50th anniversary weekend of the Woodstock festival for the fall of 2019. Then it got canceled. And then, before her debut album could be released (following some other big splash opportunity, after this one canceled, for launching the career of this young rockstar) the pandemic hit and Ms. Courtney had to stay home in the North East of England for YEARS. I have high hopes for her cameo appearance upcoming in New York, as others have mentioned here already. I truly believe this youngster learned all the right things from studying Ms. Tina Turner and all the other greats from the roots of modern music. Her onstage demeanor when performing reminds me a lot of the constant action of Tina Turner, the ENERGY Ms. Tina pushed out into her audiences. This youngster is going to absolutely ROCK the biggest stadiums if she can get a GREAT band that really become good friends and colleagues with her. She's still apparently pretty shy, a private person, but onstage, when she's performing, she is an absolute SUPERSTAR. I LOVE this performance. And now, she's going to turn 20 this July (2024). SERIOUSLY COMPETENT PERFORMER.

I couldn't have said it better! She's amazing and if nobody suggested it check out her cover of Proud Mary in a karaoke bar a year ago it's fantastic. Thanks Bob for the love and support you give to Courtney.

Another great reaction, I'm just seeing it now, been outta town all week and off the internet allot. Thanks to some of her other fans commenting on her posts, I did manage to catch the video of Clive Davis' interview saying Courtney is leading off his Carnegie Hall show🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳.

You shouldn't have to wait long for a live Courtney performance and an entire album of originals. The legendary Clive Davis invited her to open his tribute concert at Carnegie Hall on April 29th with Piece of My Heart. Afterwards, she will go to producer Kevin Bowe's studio to finish her first album of originals--Courtney is truly an original herself!

Courtney worked with the well known Swedish song writer and producer Max Martin on this song. Unfortunately I don't know for sure who did what.

Hi Bob! Great reaction to one of my favorite artists of all time, Courtney Hadwin ! You missed the judges comments. Most importantly they confirmed that she was only 14 years of age when she performed this great song and that It was an original ! I might also mention that she had three standing ovations : 1 - when she came out on stage. 2.- When she finished singing Pretty Little Thing and 3- when the audience found out it was an original song ! I can't think of any other performer who had had three standing ovations and that they were so well deserved. Keep your reactions coming!

It's not strange that Lovebites is my favorite band, and Courtney who doesn't sing music that is in my wheelhouse, gets in my wheelhouse simply because of that magnificent voice. She, like Lovebites, wears her inspirations on her sleeves, inspirations from the past. She embraces it, yet modernizes it with her special Courtney sauce. I hope to be listening to her for a long time, and hope she truly gets known as an artist around the world.

This is her original. After telling Howie that, she received her THIRD standing ovation. How many singers get three standing ovations. She is phenomenal. We are hoping very soon to have an album to introduce her to the world even though a big chunk of the world already knows her and is part of her fan club.

Have you done Breakable, That Girl Don't Live Here, Call Me Back, Monsters and Christmas Rocks, all written and released in 2023. I think you have done the last two but all of these are Courtney. Check them all out, I would love to hear what you think. She is, as a write this, producing an album and planning performances. I have never been to a rock show before, but I really want to go see Courtney.

@infiniteversez I haven’t sent any other comments from you prior to this one. I don’t ever remember seeing any comments from you about any of my reactions. However, I did attempt to listen to Slaughterhouse. I did not like it. I didn’t make it past “lay you next to your dog” or something like that.

@@SixxDaze damn💀 that’s rough, not very surprising, sematary is one of those artist where u have to listen more and more to understand the style behind it and the lyric choices. I doubt youd do it but nevada is a song youd probably like, it does have a deeper meaning to the chorus, if u decide to give it a chance, i kinda recommend looking at the lyrics on genius some of the lyrics are explained. I know alot of people who didnt like him at first but then loved him after a while of listening but thats if you want to give him a chance. But thank you for the attempt i really wanted you to try some new music
